Hoping that Brad and Leslie will teach us POOCH too as part of the Santa Fe contingent. We leave on Wednesday to work in a short trip to Taos (all in the name of writing research :app: ). Olivia and Joanna, wish you could be joining us for a great Santa Fe weekend. LCT meetings are the best!

We've got our little HAL to Vancouver/Seattle adventure in little more than a week. Actually, in two weeks from today, our HAL cruise will be over and we will be on Camano Island, Washington with some favorite LCT friends.

I pulled a joke on sweet Priscilla today. Before leaving work, I called and left a message for her on her cell phone. I told her that Alan and I would not be coming to Santa Fe because we decided, after all this planning and anticipation of meeting each other after almost 5 years, that we changed our minds about meeting them! Of course, afterwards, I started to laugh and told her she could "thunk" me when we see her tomorrow. Can't wait to finally meet such dear people as Priscilla and John, as well as see, again, the others we hold near and dear, too!

You have so much boundless energy that I think the rest of us will have a hard time keeping up with you - Denise probably has that same keep on moving energy. Some of us need recharging though and a nap or some spaaaahhh time is necessary to dance into the night

JoAnn, both Diana and I are signed up for Le Cordon Bleu. Can't wait! We will be right there with you at night. However in the mornings we too will be sleeping in. I have to wait for the gym to clear out of all the masses first! LOL

Ok, slap us silly and call us foolish - Tom and I got so GREEN with ENVY from the TAP'sters that our eyes went CROSS'ed and we are signed up (again) for CROSS!!!

We are only doing the actual Crossing not the first week of walking and sight-seeing (too much time away from family and work).

We got a pretty decent rate for Category F - Deck Seven - Suite 728...do we have any neighbors?

We are not sure about doing the Cordon Bleu class...it sounds like fun, but some of the foods don't appeal to us and most of all if we are going to dance all night there is no way I will be able to get up and cook at 9 a.m. due to my leg weakness...I will have to sleep in til 9 and then rest at the Spaaaaahhhhh or the pool deck til lunch.

I hope we are still going to be included in the LCT festivities even though we cancelled and now we're back on the boat! :banana:

Welcome back. As far as the 9:00am Cordon Bleu classes go, not everyone got stuck with that time more than once on WAVE. And with the hour a day time gain you will get to sleep in!

We have 25 hour days on our crossing - the TAP people had 23 hour days. We get to be on board 12 more hours than they did!

We're back from Santa Fe and I'm taking a quick look-see to catch-up on what's been happening for CROSS.

I won't be signing up for the cooking classes. Lots of other things to immerse myself in. I'm sure that those who are taking classes, will have a great time.

We had an awesome time in Santa Fe! This was quite the POW WOW gathering and will be hard to beat for the next LCT gathering! Wish you all could have been there. Wonderful time with even more wonderful friends!

I am pretty certain Tom and I will skip the cooking class (we may regret it later on).

We have to keep up the relaxing mode that we found on TUSH and will have on BOREDZZZZZZ - I know Denise and Alan won't want to enjoy the Spaaahhhhh and the deck chaaaiiirrssss all alone! :banana:

I would like to do the Bridge Lessons. I did some on a couple cruises and they were fun. I've been promising Frank that we'd do them locally for years, but, something seems to get in the way. I missed them on WAVE but when the cruise is port intensive.

That'd be fun to have all 7 of us Cordon Bleu in the same class.

Kathy - Frank wants me to do some bridge lessons too and I think Priscilla is interested - she and I were going to partner up, maybe you and Frank could also, and assuming they don't assign tables, we could be a foursome - at least when we don't have the CB classes that might interfere. Andi indicated above that beginning bridge was usually around 9:00 or so.

Frank and I may want to take some dance lessons too if they are offered and at a convenient time, I mean with sleeping, spaing, CB classes, bridge, pool time, Pinot Grigo miles, trivia, bingo and tea time, will there be enough hours in the day????? Not to mention the evening, cocktails, eating, casinoing, dancing, partying. At least we gain an hour each day :D :D Aaahhh its a tough job, but someone has to step up to the plate!!!

We are in cabin 849. We are getting on in Istanbul on Oct 6, so we will have the ship ready when all of you join!

Wow!!! I am so excited that you are going to be back on CROSS Sue! Yes, we would love to meet for drinks and dinner Saturday night in Funchal. Now, we won't be the only ones being the newbies getting onboard in Funchal! LOL BTW, we are in cabin 751. Where are you staying in Funchal, or do you know yet?

As for the Murder Mystery, Diana and I have been discussing that we need to start pulling all of it together, but we have been holding off and there is still plenty of room for all who want to join in. It is going to be a blast.

Denise, glad to hear that you had such a good time in Santa Fe. Did you take lots of pictures?
