Ngaire, what time is the tour of Regent's offices and the meet and greet with Conroy et al? We don't arrive until noon and I hope we can still participate.

We don't arrive until 2:00, so guess we are in the same situation.

No schedule yet from Regent but my best guess for MONDAY January 3rd is as follows:
Pick up at the hotel at around 5.30 to 6.00 pm by bus Quick visit to Regent Headquarters Off to the cocktail reception and dinner Transfer back to the hotel around 10.00 pm
There will be an official invitation coming to everyone with details but probably not until November.

5:30 or 6:00 is perfect indeed! Alice and I will be coming from Disney World.

Is there something planned for Non-FUNners on Jan 4?

Plans still up in the air and the Voyager POD situation will put this on ice for the meantime.
However there are too many for a lunch with the health inspections that day so those that are not sailing will be able to come onboard but the secondary function may be something right before or just after sailing and only those actually sailing will be able to attend.

Regent changed the council meeting in SFO to start on the 13th instead of the 11th. This means Ken and I will be on FUN for the entire week now. We are very happy about this more time to spend with everyone. The best news I have had for the couple of weeks!

WONDERFUL NEWS Ngaire, that will make FUN2 even more special. So glad you will get to do this for the whole week Agree with Joanna, you have had a load to bear this last couple of weeks --- you need a vacation.

Wonderful, Ngaire! First, after recent events, you will get to DINGO! Then catch up, and then for FIESTA, lets just hope you are "over the hump" with all the changes/cancels going on!

The place for dinner is confirmed here is a link to the website. Regent has reserved the whole facility.
What makes this venue special is they do cooking demonstrations and then you eat the food they just cooked. Not sure how they are going to pull that off for 100+ people but I guess they have it all figured out.
It just looks so neat to me, not just a normal restuarant type situation. Click on "THE VENUE" to look at the slideshow of the actual place we are going.

FYI - There are now 92 booked on the cruise and 107 reserved for FIESTA. Only D and above left and only a few D shower cabins left.

Mary Elaine,
I will be late for your party tonight as I am busy catching up on the LCT posts. Not.
You should be busy opening the wine instead of looking at LCT today.
See you in a couple of hours.

Well, elegant casual, what other dress code is there these days? Probably on the more casual side for me, though.

Has anyone ever been to the restaurant we are going to after the Regent tour? It looks fairly fancy on the website but you can't really tell what it's really like in person!

Karen, that is exactly what I thought and why I asked. Perhaps if everyone goes casual it will be fine, even if it ia a "fancy" venue?
