Guess what arrived in the mail today? Of course, we've both read through everything about 3 times already. :)

Only a little more than 2 weeks before we leave for Istanbul. Looks like we'll have to re-pack the bags a bit when we get there. They want you to take only one smaller bag on the land part of the trip. And you just know that if I pack that way leaving home, one of the bags won't make it to Istanbul in time. :(

So, I figure we'll do the usual. (Half and half in each bag) and then re-sort them in the hotel before we leave for Ankara.

Even with the luggage woes, the excitement of a cruise is wonderful news.

Have a ball, Beth

PS - did you know that if you do the "doc dance" long enough and for enough time before your actual cruise that you could loose 5 pounds before you board????heehee wave

Joann,

I love that theory. If we loose 5 pounds doing our doc dance before our cruise, we can gain 5 pounds on the cruise. Trade off! SWEET!!!

I google the graphics. It is so much fun.

So after you do the Doc Dance and Lose 5 lbs, you can lose another 5 doing the packing and trying to squeeze 28 outfits in your luggage for a 14 day vacation - not even counting shoes and toiletries. I think I hear some grunting coming from my bedroom that sounds like "Honey, I think we need another suitcase brought up to the bedroom. One more just for your shoes ought to do it".

Okay, gotta run.

Hmm... 10 pounds lost just with doc dance and packing? I love it!

Just wish it was true. I'm in pre-cruise diet mode to lose a few pounds before we leave. (So I can gain them back without guilt onboard.) Passed a cinnabon kiosk yesterday at the King of Prussia mall. Haven't had one of those in years, but oh boy, did I want one yesterday. :)

Started out thinking we'd manage this with 2 suitcases... then started matching outfits with accessories.....

Now we're up to three. And you are absolutely right, Kathy, one will be mostly shoes!

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I promise a full report when I get back. Already have my journal packed for the trip. :)

Kathy
