Alice, you asked what was largest lct (BK) cruise ever, and I think that would go to MUSH, although MINT was huge, too (I believe back in cc days before lct was born). Only Ngaire would know! I just remember N got the ship's photographer to line us up on the steps leading from the pool deck to the deck above. It was almost a cruise to nowhere, but so much fun with no excursions to be riddled with!

Canada is over 100 now almost totally sold out.
Mush was right around that number. Mint was big but not that big.

I think the biggest of all for me (not LCT or even CC in those days) was the Song of Flower where we had about 120 - the ship only held at capacity 180. One of my first escorted group cruises ever. We were in a storm with an engine out. I called it the cruise from hell but surprisingly everyone had a tremendous time. Dag was Captain the first time I met him, and Regent was very generous with compensation and people speak so fondly of that trip. Jerry and Peggy were on that trip with me that is how far back my relationship with them goes.

I will check the records and get back to you with the exact numbers.

Regent advertised these specials yesterday for the first time, so we definitely got a head start on the less expensive cabins. Not much left in F now with a shower, last check one far forward and one very aft.

Interesting history, Ngaire! Great stories and memories for all, I'm sure. I had no idea the numbers were that big. I'm just so happy that Alice and I got in on all the fun when we did!

ANT-NEE, Joanna, John, Kimmi and the rest of us? Sounds like we'll need to arrive plenty early to get ready.

Karen, sorry for the delay. We will be buzzing around in 757. wink

Cheers, Anne

Ahh, the cruise from hell--definitely one of our favorites!!! And the best part of it was the "Drive by Rome" excursion. Because the ship was only running on one engine, we got into port very late every day (which was great for those of us who like to sleep in). As a result we had about four hours to get into Rome, tour and get back to the ship--thus the "drive by" part. We were a little late getting on the road back to the ship, but our van driver was an expert! We were on the road at the top of the Spanish Steps and she spied an ambulance down at the bottom of the steps. She actually drove down the Spanish Steps (bumpety, bump) and followed the ambulance out of the area and the traffic. We got back to the ship just in time. And to top that, we actually drank the ship out of Couvoisier. What a great trip!!

Any chance we snag a FUN pin for this cruise?

I think we need one for FIESTA to go with the HO-DOWN pin so we can combine the two events - A FUN FIESTA pin.

OKAY it is OFFICIAL despite everything conspiring to keep us off this cruise Ken and I will now be joining the FUN group from FLL to Belize. Three wonderful nights. So happy to be included it was really frustrating for us that we could not be part of the FUN group.

David can go to Japan any old time. Tell him to wait for Cherry Blossoms!

Don't you need a little pre-B'day celebration in a warm clime???

C'mon down girlfriend!!
