Thanks to all who read my waffle and Jackie's constructive reports. I realise I put the whole thing in the wrong section but as I was on holiday, I presume I have been excused. I arrived back in New York last night and just can't wait for the long trek back to Australia on Sunday night! Oh gosh - I'm exhausted just thinking about it! I'm not sure how these things work (help, Karen) but below is what Michael emailed me to see a selection of our photos. Should anyone want to see them and this doesn't work, please let me know and I'll get Michael to fix it for me. http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a354/mjohnson555/Mediterranean%202008/ It worked for me but I've yet to look at what he's put there. Lee, please tell Michael thanks for sharing his beautiful photos. They look like brochure shots. Especially that one of the ship in Santorini. I'm so glad the two of you had such a nice time.

Lee, Michael and Loren -- I just have to tell you what a wonderful time Penny and I had with you fellow cruisers on our much-anticipated Venice to Istanbul segment. We were so envious that you were staying on for the next segment (as we sailed past the Voyager on our Sunday Bosporous tour), and also being joined by many of our Board friends! But three days we spent in Istanbul were the jewels on the crown of our vacation...what a wonderful, fascinating city and people! I truly hope that we will have the opportunity to meet again somewhere on the seas. I know we won't be going to Alaska, but if you get the itch for a Baltic cruise, be sure to let us know. Tim

Wow - Michael is a fantastic photographer. Those two in Santorini are truly spectacular. He "has the eye". We have some super star photographers on LCT and Michael has just entered the ranks among the best.

Ngaire: Michael will be 'ticked pink'with your comment! Might I add, I took some photos too but I don't think he posted any of mine - wonder why?
Betty, Karen and Sandee: Glad you enjoyed looking at the photos - they're always more interesting if you've been there.
Tim and Penny: Sure missed you two on the second week but glad you enjoyed Istanbul. Did you two manage to catch Constance's cold - I'm still coughing! Sorry, we've already been to the Baltics - can you come up with somewhere else? Anywhere will do!!!
Kathy: It was really super meeting you - you're great company! Sure hope we can meet up again one day.
Peggy: Sorry I haven't answered your note before but .... Is that this November you will be in Sydney? I'd love to meet if it is at all possible. Let me know your details.
