Trip report to follow (am drafting along the way, but not enough time for a finished product).

Mini album at Kodak

BIGGER album at Photoshow (be patient for it to load)

Steve,

I AM SPEECHLESS.

NO, wait a minute, I have to say something...are you a Hollywood producer?

This tops anything I have ever seen related to travel on the Internet in my entire life, and this is only Day One of your chronology. How unbelievably COOL that I am about to head off for (well, almost) the exactly same thing in 10 days!

Please be sure to get some enjoyment out of this for YOURSELF, for goodness sake! But I humbly thank you!!! PLEASE DO ENJOY...

We need him on ROAR 2 wouldnt that be a great thing to have. Maybe Ray's will be something like this.

What a great presentation, I have never seen anything quite like that - thanks for sharing that with us takes us all right to Tahiti.

Steve- Allan and I are SOOOOOOOO excited, we spent the day shopping, the dive shop, target, and the mall for new clothes, we bought our sping rafts, pop up laundry bin, clear shoe over the door bags and well you get the point, all the litttle hints we have had form this board. Imagine our delight to come home and see that amazing display. Thanks so much for sharing! We are looking forward to hearing from you again! Enjoy!

It really does put the rest of us to shame and raises the bar. Photoshow may have a surge in sales after that one!

45 min to life boat drill, then 1st launch to Motu.

When we first got on (we boarded early...before 3:00) I 'snuck' into 7002 and took these pictures. Gee did I feel guilty. Later I went back and found out the people staying in it were ones we had met at ICB (the 4 ladies in the pool if you looked at the slideshow).

Here is a link to pictures.

Not sure when I will be back on line. Maybe this evening, but after drinking Hinano's all day at the Motu...WHO KNOWS!!!

Bon chance

Steve, great photo show! I must be loosing my mind because I wrote a reply right after viewing it a few hours ago but I must have forgotten to hit "Add Reply". I was anxious to show your presentation to my husband and I guess after writing I went back up to the link again!

Like some others have mentioned, I do hope that you take the time to simply enjoy some of your vacation without camera in hand. But for folks like Sue who have not been yet your attention to detail is just so incredibly helpful.

Steve--fab pix of 7002, the owner's suite. It's gorgeous. Too bad you just didn't complete the "tour" and sneak into 7003 while you were there! (that's us!!!) LOL. But you'd have probably gotten arrested!!!

Oh man! Sue, I was thinking you were in 2002. Oh well.

I'm having trouble on-board using my 'new' picture software. On shore the 1st file show worked fine, but but now the 2nd one won't load. It seems to be timing out on me (others have had similar issues with other things). There were internet issues yesterday (from the weather they thought) as it was pretty nasty at Bora Bora in the morning (some morning excursions were cancelled), so maybe it will be better today since the weather is great. I will keep trying, or at least try another software. Plus now that we are at sea on the way to the Marquesas I will have more time to 'play'.

Steve, right before you left, someone on CC had asked about 7002 so that's probably what you had in your mind. When you return, I bet they'll kill for a peek at those pix. I thought they were VERY useful. While 7003 across the hall is a lot smaller, the decor will be the same, and all new, too, I imagine, so it was helpful nonetheless!

I hope you two are having a fantastic time!!! Thanks again so very much for taking a moment to check in with us! We hang on every one of your words and of the others traveling this week, too!

It is now High Tea here in La Palette, so I am a little out of place working on my laptop...but so be it!

Internet access is still spotty, so instead of using photoshow (will do when I get home...frustrating since the albums are done but I just can't share them!!!!) Anyway, here are some photos from the ICB before we took a taxi to the PG, and then some on the PG before it got it dark and I had to stop. No captions, but you should be able to figure them out. And somehow Kodak decided to rearrange my order and I didn't bother to take the time to fix.

Motu Mahana (sp?) is next.

You can tell by the clouds we were in for some rain sometime, but not enough to cancel motu day. It did rain HARD for about 2 minutes then sunny again...NO PROBLEM. And then just as we were departing it rained again.

There is a jazz tour group of about 100 on board with a couple of ensembles performing. The Titan Hot Seven (check their website) is one. Outstanding!!! And great guys. We had dinner with two of them (one loves his desserts!)

It's tough here in paradise. We are 'bouncing' along heading toward the Marquesas islands. It was fun in the pool with all this action.

More to come.

Steve,
I can't tell you how I'm loving these pic's. We were in cabin 726 end of April and I re-live every moment looking at your pictures. Thanks for making the dull, dreary work week here more bearable!!! Enjoy every minute.

Ahhh, I am already feeling like I am on vacation, Steve. No worries about not being able to use photoshow. This is AWESOME! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

P.S. I hope Motu day didn't give you TOO much rain. We are bringing rain jackets because we know the "R" word is inevitable, but are hoping it rains at the optimum times!
