FYI, the Guest Information Form may now be filled out and submitted online from the Already Booked section.

Thanks Dave. I just went to fill it out and found that most of the info is already filled in. Must have been saved from our June cruise. A couple entries and I was done. Sure makes it easy.

Great, the new one works much better than the old one did. I was used to seeing much of the information already filled in. I was a bit dismayed to see the passport numbers displayed clear, before they were either encrypted or otherwise obfuscated. Not sure whether that means much from a security point of view when you're in a secure site. It's probably fine.

Thanks for this post, I just checked mine and it was incomplete, even though I filled it out for my next cruise already before the new website.

Well I still can't get in on my back to back in September. It is quite frustrating. It is making me most uncomfortable with Regent.

I really like the new form--most of the stuff was already filled in. In the past, I was frustrated to have to keep telling them stuff that they should have already had on file.

For some reason Caroldoll the back to back issues are really a problem. Not just for the shore excursion selection but in the whole new system. We have been required to book each cruise separately as the system could not handle a back to back. YESTERDAY I had a back to back in 2010 come through as one booking. It may have been working earlier I had just not had a booking that made me realise that was fixed. This was 2010 and 2009 may be a different issue. Does not help your plight just thought I would tell you that it is not just a shore excursion issue.
It is so far away from your cruise I would not worry, although I am sure you would like to complete the task and it is fun to decide what you are going to do. On these boards it appears everyone is on top of things but really the passengers on the boards are a very small percentage of the overall ship and very few are thinking about shore excursions for September at this point or even realise that an onboard booking system is even available.
There are "board people" that are very well informed and then "regular people" who are not aware of anything new that has happened since their last cruise.

I have not filled in a Guest Information Form for my last six cruises. They have still let me onboard each time. I guess it helps to have a great travel agent. Of course, now that tickets are sent to our home address, I will have to let Regent know that we have moved a few times since I last gave them my address. :D

You are so kind, Nigaire and Travelcat always speaks so highly of you. Thank you for answering. I am leaving on another cruise and a vacation and I was trying to get stuff done early. I am extremely organized. I have long since decided to bypass Regent and do everything on a private basis. Also, as Marc said, the guest form isn't a big issue. I can take care of things on board. It is the overall picture that leaves a bad taste. I am sure you understand. I just wanted to express how much I appreciate your reply.

I just did the guest form online, and almost everything was there, except stupid stuff that related to info that was there, like "citizenship" when they had my passport number...... Lynn

I think they need to know what country you "belong" to as well as your passport number since the passport number doesn't tell them where you are from, and entry/exit regulations differ depending on your country! For example, my husband is American (USA that is!) and I am British. I therefore do not have my passport entry stamped when coming into an EU country, while he does. Conversely, when I leave the US (in two weeks time on the Navigator!! Hooray!!) that pesky little green bit of a form has to be sent to the US government - the cruise line needs to know this!!

You may want to check your form again. The computer was not working this afternoon. When we checked our form it had reverted back to "incomplete". Unfortunately we could not view it.

Ours have stayed "complete", after I updated them a couple of days ago online.

Mine says "incomplete", and then takes me right back to the website homepage. Not worried about it. Ngaire says Regent already has all that information on file, as I remember. But, it is a pain to get onto that Already Booked section and have to enter the same information every time you want to find out if excursions are available, which by the way, are not, for my Octbober 17 (DRAGON) cruise.

I'd love to get to our guest information form, or have Regent even recognize our booking! But until we have a "deposit" (full payment in our case, since it's only 3 weeks away), we can't view anything online. We are displaced first leg VIKINGs who have decided to place our 13 nights onto Navigator May 10 & 16th sailings. It's frustrating to say the least. But we're making lemonade out of the lemons - our longtime friends have decided to book the May 16th sailing with us!

The Guest Information Form portion of the Already Booked section appears to be working again.

Thanks, Dave - we got to ours but noticed that our Society numbers have changed - they were prepopulated and not changeable - and many more digits than we had prior. I'll chalk it up to, the ever-changing world of Regent!
