Hi everyone! We made it from Maryland down to FLL and to the ship on Sat. It was really easy to get on the ship and the sun was actually out! We met up with Bonnie and her husband at the life boat drill- 45 minutes- We are runnning into them alot, which is great! Shall be trying to have dinner with them soon. We had the sailaway party and there were a line of ships sailing out, there were 10 ships in and were number 6 to sail out. Then we were are the beginning of the Ft. Lauderale Christmas boat sailing up the intercoastal waterway. There was actually a boat looking like a VW. It was really cute. We wished we could have stayed to watch it! There are 490 pass and 70 kids!!! No joke about that. There are alot of large family groups, the largest is 21.
We were in the Bahamas yesterday and it Rained and it was rather cool. Carole and I made it over to Atlantis and had a great time over there. We sailed at 2 yesterday and have been at sea since then. The seas are kinda rough. We had the captains dinner and had the lobster and filet last night for dinner. It was just fab!
When we got on board, I was checking out the computers, and who did I run into again? Mark Conroy! He was on saying hi to the staff and I guess checkin in on things, not sure what ship he was getting on, but not ours.
We shall be in Totela tomorrow afternoon, at least the sun is out today and it is getting warmer. yea! Wes, the Italian dinner is tonight for us upstairs, but the vibrations are kinda bad up since it is kinda rough out there. We shall be enjoying that tonight. We have a full of activities to do today.
Oh, when we got on board, alot of people know us! We are just laughing about it now. Which is great, they know us and it has been fun. Barb, Vernon, Carole and I all say hi, checked in the weather at home- 7 degrees. Glad I am sailing.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Since there are so many kids on board, there are going to be many more Christmas activites for the kids that are on-- just like us. My dad yesterday went to the ice cream social and was like a little kid. It was cute.
Sailing in the Caribbean. off to a seminar- spy's!! And naturally at sea day means nap time this afternoon. We all are still trying to catch up on our sleep. Cheers.

Jan, I am glad you are off to a good start! And as for the Christmas yacht parade in Ft. Lauderdale, it's just the greatest! I hope you have a wonderful cruise and please give your mom and Carole a big hug from me.

Thanks for checking in! We took a Christmas cruise one year and it really is magical - especially with kids on board. Have a wonderful holiday!
