It's me again!!!!

Long story short - we're going to Alaska again next June!!!

Long story long....

So, last year, after hearing about our plans for a cruise on the Black Sea, my parents decided to book it also, even though they had never cruised before. Um, I guess they liked it, because they decided they wanted to go to Alaska next, and take their kids with them! So next year, the 8 of us (my brother, his wife and 2 kids, my parents, and me & DH) will be on the Navigator from Seward to Vancouver. Yes, DH & I did this cruise (in reverse) 4 years ago on our own, but if someone says they want to take me on a cruise - I say yes!

I should add, this is a *huge* deal for my dad to do this. He is a college professor, and, I think, *finally* retiring after the next school year right before the cruise. It's just so generous of him - a once in a lifetime thing he has worked so hard for.

So, I wasn't expecting to cruise again for a few years, and I definitely wasn't planning on redoing a cruise we'd done before, but, this time hopefully we'll do Denali before meeting up with my family and doing the cruise (anyone been and have any tips?), we'll do different excursions, and we've never been on the Navigator before - so not exactly the same. I'm a little apprehensive as we love the Mariner so much, I can't imagine any other ship, but it still has a hot tub and pool bar that will make me virgin mango daiquiris right - so how bad can it be? ;) I'm already hoping they'll do the wonderful seafood buffet on a sea day like last time - oh, the seafood....

Does anyone have any good interior (or exterior) pictures of the Navigator I can look at? I know I have almost 15 months before we go, but I am ready to start dreaming - and anticipation is 1/2 the fun right?!?!?

Woohoo - I'm cruising again!!!!

:)
Liz

It is a mini Mariner with even better suites. The bathrooms are bigger! The service is Regent and you won't see a difference.

Aboard the Mariner bound for Maderia, Portugal. Our 4th wonderful sea day. The weather is calm and sunny..bridge lessons great and the Mariner is her perfect self! Only Jan and Harry on board..very unlike our Fun cruise in Jan. Loving every minute. Miss you, Ralph and Ngaire!

No worries at all! I actually like Navigator way more than Mariner (but Voyager is my fav). You will have a great time.

I love all the ships! Have an affinity toward Navigator, as I was on her for my first two cruises before the others were "born", Liz! Have been on Mariner most, and just used to it, love the public areas, but love the cabins on Navigator and Voyager!
