Ken and I want to wish all the LCT family a wonderful holiday season and to express a few thoughts to everyone this year.

Our Regent and Silversea cruises plus the two large African safari groups made 2008 a very special and busy year. It was a delight to meet so many new LCT'ers and we also had the pleasure of spending time with many long-time LCT'ers as well.

We would like to express our appreciation to everyone on LCT. The friendships that have developed with so many of the LCT Family are something very special to us. We do feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get know so many wonderful people from all over the country.

Thank you for selecting and entrusting Brown and Keene Travel with your travel plans. Without your support this rather unique situation that has become the LCT Family would never have developed.

We look forward to seeing so many of you in 2009 and beyond. What a lot we all have to be grateful for, and this is the time of year that we stop to reflect and recognize how fortunate we are. Best wishes to everyone on this holiday season.

Ngaire and Ken

Hmmmmmmmmm:

Where to begin. Yup, we agree with all the above statements...tlc hand-holding; true friendships developed and especially for us, making dreams come true.

However, there were two trips that were not in our dream package...Africa and the World Cruise. Those dreams were developed, cultivated and made real because of us sticking our nose into this board and finding a whole new realm of possibilities. We saw, contemplated and acted and we're sure glad we did as we are blessed with many fond memories and friends that we feel extremely good about.

So what awaits us in 2009? We'll see once the ol dream machine gets cranked up and the 401K regains its health.

Cheers! Ray & Penny

This board and the friendships we have developed through and because of it are a very, very special part of our lives as well. Marc and I both feel so priveleged to be a part of this group and to call all of you friends. It is wonderful to have so many wonderful friends to share our love of travel with.

Greetings and blessings to this unique "community", or more appropriately, "family." We love to follow your travels and your lives, and we certainly appreciate your interest and presence on our trips, especially during our Machu Picchu journey and when Dad fell ill during the Grand Crossing. BTW, he is WELL and, in fact, we are on our laptops at the dining table looking at cruise opportunities for 2009 Mother and Dad!

B&K is the ONLY travel agency that I have EVER used for ANY travel. Since 2001 (when I called Ngaire to help with our 25th anniversary Paul Gauguin cruse), Ngaire and I her staff have provided opportunities, met our needs, answered our countless e-mails, and shared their open ears and dry shoulders. I LOVE referring people to B&K ... and how much fun that they are just "up the street" from us in Dallas!

I doubt that we will be on the seas this year ... the 3-week trip to Australia in Sept/Oct will consume our budget and calendar. BUT, we look forward to sailing the world vicariously throughout 2009, with smiles on our faces and yes, a bit of envy.

Blessings.

Luke
