MUSHers are in Juneau. If you look all the way on the left, you will see, what I think is, the stern of the Mariner. I wish I could turn that camera a little to the left!

Betty, When we took the Yukon RR excursion in July, we got back to the train station around 11 AM. Maybe we can check back in a few hours and see if any MUSHers are around.

Good morning from Skagway. The White Pass train stopped right in front of our ship. It was fun sitting on our balcony watching them load up with Mariner and Carnival Spirit passengers. I just saw Masaki, Amanda, Lauri, Karen & Mark leaving for their rock climbing excursion. Carla & Frank are going kayaking...not sure about what the others are doing. Tom is at the gym now and We have NOTHING planned today, perfect for us to just walk around leisurely. The weather is kind of grey but so far no rain.
Yesterday's whale watching was a real success and we had perfect weather and blue skies. We saw 4 orcas and about 5 humpbacks including a Momma and her baby born in 2006.
Last night we had Alaskan King Crab legs for dinner for our entire table (Karen, Mark, Joanna, Tony, Olivia, Suzanne, Tom and me)special ordered from the night before. It was a feast beyond words with the longest crab legs I've ever seen. They brought them out on a platter stacked so high and gave each of us about 7 legs (already cracked open thank goodness). I think Suzanne took pictures. As we were finishing, Carla, Frank and John (Mr.Kimmi) came over and pulled up chairs as the Grand Marinier souffles were brought to the table....we all really pigged out! Afterwards we just went into the Mariner Lounge for espressos, Sambuccas etc. We had originally planned to go see John Barron's show but dinner was so late because of getting back from various excursions we were still on dessert at 10pm. No casino, no STARS last night...just good times with good friends!! To no surprise as we were leaving there were only 5 tables left throughout Compass Rose, all MUSHers!
Tonight we're eating dinner with Masaki, Amanda, Olivia, Joanna & Tony, and Carla & Frank. I think tomorrow night we're with Marc & Arlene...need to check my calendar to keep up with all these dinners.
Tonight is also Martini Night in Horizon Lounge with John Barron singing, followed by another Kareoke night in STARS. Better rest up!!
Marcie

Hi Marcie,
Great MUSH reporting! Fantastic to hear that the whale watching excursion was enjoyable! Capt. Larry lives up to his reputation as the best. We loved him.
Looking forward to seeing pics of those crab legs! Drooling here!
Keep up the reports! Miss you! Enjoy a relaxing day!

Well, none of us girls are on that tender, we are all playing here on LCT, lol. The boys are trying to organize their own salmon fishing expedition, this should be interesting!
Today is the first chance I have had to catch up with the board, each time I have tried, there has been no signal. I have alllll morning to see what I have been missing, though!

Okay so it's impossible to stalk you today. What happened on the fishing trip? You have salmon for dinner last night? Click here for a link to the Whittier cam. Nobody at the dock now...they should be there tomorrow. ![[Linked Image]](http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/robertatwb/swhittier.jpg)

Just a moment to post. We have had engine serious problems with pods, and are not getting in tomorrow night until 8 p.m. What a mess for Regent, and for passengers coming in.

Regent will handle everything expediently with finesse and professionalism. We all know they're a class act.
Sorry for those who are waiting to embark.
Please let us know how it's going. Hoping you all try to make the best of your additional night's stay on Mariner!

All I know for sure is that Marc, Arlene and Suzanne are in the air or close to it. I think a few are staying locally for a day or so. I'm sure someone will check in.
I just checked with Regent and according to the agent, the Mariner will depart tonight at 6PM. "The engines are running a little slower and they will be making repairs along the way while in ports" was the reply when I asked about repairs to the "pod thingies".

I'm back, long day yesterday. Flew out of Anchorage at 7pm, connected in Seattle and got home at 5 am.
Suzanne did indeed have an earlier flight. I think air travel eventually worked out for everyone, although there was still a fair amount of last minute scrambling going even up until yesterday afternoon.
