I can't remember the answer to this, if I have booked excursions online and want to add to them, do I start all over with a new request including the previously booked excursions or do I just add the new ones that I want?

I think you start over Karen including the previously booked ones, as they defer to the latest request. On the off chance that you might end up with a double booked tour, the excursion desk will remedy it as soon as you board.

Thats how we've always done it, and its always worked perfectly.

Now I'm not so sure.
I think the ones you have done are locked in so when you do more it is a seperate transaction.
this is something we did on our "AMAZON" cruise and I am pretty sure that is the way it worked.

Oh well, if I have duplicates I can always turn them in at the beginning of the cruise.

Well when we did our excursions for CROSS, I submitted one request for the Lanzarote tour, then decided to add the Valencia overview, so I just submitted a new request. Guess I'll find out when we board if we have duplicate spots on the Lanzarote tour. Like you Karen, if thats the case will just turn them in at the start.

I've heard what Jim said to be the case. In fact, I just did this. But I added a note saying that the new excursion did not affect our already-booked ones. Has anybody booked duplicates because they weren't sure what they wanted? Sounds like something I wouldn't do, but just wondering.

Karen,

My understanding is the newest request supercedes prior ones. When we did the WC, I requested excursions segment-by-segment at different times not realizing this was the case. I ended up losing everything and had to fill out and fax a very long form to my TA to re-submit.

I booked excursions at 2 different times for TAP and all tickets were waiting for me when I boarded. Nothing was canceled out.

I booked 4 excursions for Fjords at different times without repeating the previous ones and tickets for all 4 were in my suite when I boarded.

I went on My Cruises and they've changed it. Used to be if you booked and then added any new ones, the old ones cancelled. Now, it seems they just add and the old ones are still good.

Well it looks like I am going to have to turn in an extra set of tickets ;)
I think I liked the old way better, having never received an email confirmation, I don't even remember what I reserved way back when.

Karen - don't sweat it. We probably will too. Will let you know how it worked when we get on CROSS.
