Tom and I enjoyed CROSS so much that we have decided to do the 2008 Voyager fall crossing! :banana:

We both were able to totally relax having all sea days and we loved the many different activities Regent offered. Plus, this year the dates fall over Thanksgiving which is a big help as far as taking less time off work for Tom. We will just do the actual crossing - we are saving the Grand Crossing for the CROSS 2012 reunion! ;)

Wes and Ida along with Diane and possibly her sister will be on this cruise, so we know we will have a great time. Anyone else want to join us so we can give the cruise a name (even though we all loved No-Name)!

We have to cancel segment #6 of the DC because construction of our new home will begin about that time and we want to be there when things get started.

Don't I wish Bob and I could join you but there is no way I can keep Bob away from the kitchen on Thanksgiving! Me on the other hand..... :)

I am glad you are saving the Grand Crossing Experience for 2012! Who knows, maybe we'll be able to do it on their new ship.

Sounds great Sue, wish we could join you, but our cruise budget is pretty much maxed out for 2008, and we have a couple of other things we need to do next year. I'd LOVE Thanksgiving on a cruise - we did that once, it was great.

Being from Chicago are you a Bear or Packer fan? :eek: ;)

As far as flights from FLL on the return I'd say not to book a flight before 12:30 p.m. to be safe. There were a few brave souls that had earlier flights on this past crossing and they did ok. When our color tag was called to disembark the escalator broke in the cruise terminal so that slowed things down because they would not allow us to walk the stairs - we had to take turns waiting for one elevator. We were on a 12:30 flight and had enough time to spare even with the long wait to disembark.

Sue, Marcia's comment about the packer shirt "I would so wear one". More for Wes to laugh with.

I would so do this cruise if we hadn't done the Christmas one, but with Todd on mandatory vacation over Christmas every year, it just makes sense.

Beth we are looking at the May 2009 sailing on Voyager to Reykjavik. Late '09 is not good for us as our new home will be ready to move in to then. Any interest in this one...take a look at it! ;)

Sue, If they "take me back" at my school next year, May would be sort of early for me to cruise after the 3 months off on the Discovery Collection. It does look like a good cruise, though.

Can't cruise during school. The 2008 crossing is an exception because my son will be with his dad for that Thanksgiving.

My wife and I are planning to be on this cruise. Her first time on a Regent ship was on the no-name weekend cruise back in December and she loved it. We're looking forward to a week without the kids and just being able to relax for a week on sea days.
