There have been questions regarding the priority reservations. We found out that they open up the reservations about two weeks early for those eligible. Therefore the people not eligible for priority reservations must take what is left.

Hi,
I thought it was 30 days? For our Alaska cruise last May, that is when I went in to make priority reservations at Signatures and Latitudes on the Mariner.
It works, as when we checked in, there was a packet of confirmation cards with dates/times I picked

I think Ardis is talking about Gold and Platinum perks.

When I asked the SSS Hostess on the Mariner I was told that the priority reservations for upper tiers is that you ask the dining room manager for a reservation and "He makes it work."

No, not at all. If there is no empty table, there is no empty table. That is from Remy!

I'm confused....we can make reservations online 28 days before sailing but that closes out 7 days prior - so what is the two weeks deal? That doesn't sound better! Perhaps it's for multiple segments?
We are at gold level - but don't really understand what the priority situation is.

We made our Signatures reservation for MUSH last year 30 days out - we are only Silver - however when we went there the first night they did not have our reservation even though I had received one back when making the reservations, it never got to the ship. The Signatures manager told me that they had been having a problem with reservations made over the internet. Anyway, she rebooked us for another night which was fine. But hopefully the problem has been resolved. So does this mean they have changed it so that Platinum and Titanium can reserve 30 days out, and the rest of us two weeks?

I'm Gold and I see I can start making restaurant reservations 28 days out for TAP, so no change for me. Maybe the 'priority' is two weeks before the 28 days for Plat. and above?
