Sorry not posted yet. Time eaten up with work from the office.

Everything went smoothly getting from home to the ship.

BANTRY BAY. Stunning sail in and lobster and crab post in the thousands. We had tickets to a garden but two of our guests really wanted to do that tour and it was sold out so we gave her our tickets. So we just walked into town. Not much to really see but they were having a fair. Basically people selling clothing and miscellaneous items.

DUBLIN Been here so many times and you think you have seen it all then you do a tour that only duplicates are one thing you have seen before. We started with the Parliment Buildings. I remember this well. Huge building and massive grounds up on a hill . The picture is from the front of the building.

Then we went to Castle that now just is venue for celebrations. I embarrased to say I cannot remember the name of the castle, You could walk through most of the house and we were the only bus there. Beautiful Grounds.

Quite a bar for their events. They do a lot of weddings.

BELFAST
This is the "city of the troubles" We had a fantastic guide. Gave you lots of information and then had us laughing a lot. He showed us the Europa Hotel that was targeted 33 times and earned the title "most bombed hotel in the world". Clinton visited Belfast three time and always stayed at the Europa Hotel against warnings not to stay there. Of course we saw the wall that divided the prostestants and the catholics. You can sign this massive wall and leave a message that you have been there. It was a great day ending up with a stop for a local pub for Irish Coffee.

Before going back to the ship we stopped at the City Hall in Belfast.
It was very impressive. Stained glass windows that told a story of the of the town. The glass window I am posting are all about the terrible famine that hit Ireland.

LIVERPOOL. Been here three times and did everything Beatles. So I decided to do a tour of the town and glad I did. We left early and drove around the housing areas of Liverpool. So many homes jammed up together - not inviting. But then we spent a lot of time in the downtown area that I had not really seen much of in the past. They have so many unique building a lot massive churches. We did go to Penny Lane and of course the guide has lived here his whole life and he was not young. He shared information on the Beatles I had not heard before, even though we have done intensive Beatles tours twice before. We ended up in the St. Peters Cathedral the largest Cathedral in Belfast. Quite impressve.

Yesterday we went Ullapool, Scotland. We had to tender but it was a very short ride. The scenery was wonderful. Green fields, old stone houses, deer, sheep, cows. Excellent guide who sang Celtic songs like a professional singer.

Arriving back to the port we went looking for scones with jam and cream. Finally we found a take away store that had scones. But nowhere to sit. We finally found two benches and managed to eat our scones. I had pictured a quaint cafe!

Pictures will follow.

Today we took a scenic drive to Dornoch. More green fields, cows and sheep. Beautiful day with bright sunshine. Our guide had a very strong accent but he told great stories. We only had an hour in the town and we went to the castle in town and they had a delightful restaurant. We both ordered sandwiches which were very good. Dogs were with almost all of the people eating there.

Then back to the coach for more green fields of Scotland.

Tomorrow is Edinburgh. We decided to skip this port. Been here so many times. However I will post some pictures from the last few days. [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]
