What do you miss most about not having cruised in so long?
Me.....
The ambiance of the ships, sitting on my balcony reading a book and listening to the ocean, daily housekeeping, the camaraderie of the passengers and the staff, and no political advertisements

I love the carefreeness of it all. Once I get in my cabin and unpack my stuff, someone else will take care of virtually everything else. Someone will make my bed, make my cocktail, make my dinner......... what’s not to love!? Interesting ports and good company are the bonus. —————————— Helen

Ditto to everything, but mainly not having to even think about anything once onboard and unpacked.

I miss the smell of a cruise ship, sort of a mix of food and perfume, a unique smell! I also miss getting up at the crack of dawn, getting a latte and watching the sun rise. And of course, someone cooking my favorite meals for me!

I miss the after dinner mints when leaving Compass Rose, the chocolates on the turned down bed, the luxury of Regent ships and Karen, I wholly agree with you - someone cooking all my meals. Does this sound like someone who loves food? At this stage, I'd settle for anything!
