Marc had a conference up in DC this week and I got to tag along. We had dinner tonight with Tom and Mona. Before dinner they had us over for drinks. Most of us know Tom and Mona well, but I had no idea until tonight how modest Tom is. The photo is of the fireplace mantel in his home and includes his Emmy, 2 Peabody awards, his David R Morrow award (on the right) and his Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award (on the left, Unfortunately I cut most of it out of the picture). I thought you all might like to see how accomplished our friend Tom is!

He is a very talented man and I love that he let's us trail along with him on his adventures on Facebook!

how fun Arlene, wish we could have been there. It seems weird to think we don't live in DC anymore. We do miss them, as we got together several times a year for dinner.
