Just thought I would report that the internet on the Mariner is so much better. Been "almost" as good as at home and I was told they are doing even more. What a difference this makes. Been able to get on and off and get what I need to get done very quickly.

We had the same internet experience on the Navigator -- makes life much more pleasant!

Ngaire, you're so right. We got off the Mariner in Istanbul and the Internet worked so much better on this cruise. I believe you got on in Istanbul or later. Say hi to our friends Jennifer and John. We enjoyed so much cruising with them again.

I had dinner with Jennifer and John last night, they are a delightful couple!
I too find the Internet faster, much faster. But I've had problems sometime on my iPad, especially when composing a longer email or post to a message board when I click send or submit, a pop up says there is a technical problem and to try again later and the message is lost. Just a caveat to the iPad users.

With an iPad, compose your post or message offline, then cut and paste to avoid losing it.
