Andrea and I are on the Road to Mandalay river cruise for 7 days. No Internet on ship. Today we are visiting Mt Popa. Having lunch in their resort where they have wifi. I am loving this country. It's fascinating. Like no place I have ever been. Will post pixs when we return to Bangkok next Thursday. People here are lovey but so poor. They seem happy anyway.
Hate to miss NCAA but wasn't able to make picks. I would rather be here.
Don't think we are close to yesterday's killings. Feel very safe.
Hope to tell all about Burma very soon!

Back from the ship. Having tea in Rangoon waiting for flight back to Bangkok. No fish and chips nor pina coladas. Gin and tonic seems to be the beverage of choice plus a plethora of unknown choices many using lime juice and egg whites. I stayed with the G&Ts. More later when I have a real computer.

For Beth:
Tonight I was finally able to partake in Bangkok. And it was sooooo good.

A few photos from Burma. I am having issues with uploading photos tonight. Probably a very tired operator. Will try to do more tomorrow.
But for now - a few women, girls and monks of Myanmar.

We are getting ready to hit the streets of Bangkok. No definite plans. A few more photos of people. I guess it is obvious I loved taking pictures of the children.
