What a great start to the roll call!

We're in 754. We're getting on the ship in Rome so we can actually step on the Rock of Gibralter instead of just sailing by which is what they usually do.

Jim, We are in 749. What a great group to cruise with.

Peggy, it does seem like we are always sailing around the Rock of Gibralter. How nice you and Jerry get to step on the Rock.

Tim, are you going to stay on all the way back to Los Angeles? For the first time in many years, Mariner will be doing a trans-canal trip ending in LA versus going straight to South America; this trip is over Christmas and New Years.

I wonder of the following trip in early 2015 will be the long awaited LA to Hawaii, an LA to South Pacific (maybe Pitcairn and Easter Island), or just a return to Mexico and South America, or a quick return through Canal.

Since Regent pulled the 2014 schedule we will just need to wait and see.

Tom and I were just looking at booking this cruise. We need to transfer a fake OB booking and we realized that it is our "off" year and we don't need to host Thanksgiving in 2014. Keep us posted Ngaire.

PASSAGE is definitely going to be cancelled details on the new itineraries will be out sometime next week but the late fall is changing for sure. Any cruise no longer on the website will be cancelled.

Carol from California reported on CC that she called Regent and they mentioned "Dubai to South Africa" as a potential Fall 2014 cruise; is anyone interested in such an itinerary? Arlene and I are interested as it would stop in a number of spots we are interested in seeing such as Maldives and Seychelles. Would others be interested?

Absolutely Marc! I had been thinking about putting an onboard deposit on the O cruise as I'm on the Nautica right now, but when I read Regent was changing up their itinerary I decided to wait & see what they would be doing.

It appears that the Lisbon to Miami itinerary was just moved up six weeks, to an October 13th embarkation. That is actually a better time slot for our calendar...any other PASSAGES folks interested?

We're still interested, Tim. Glad to hear you are too! Timing is really better for us too and as much as I would love to be on the Dubai- Cape Town cruise, there is no way we can be away for that long.

Another alternative in the same time frame (Oct. 31 to Nov. 20) is Istanbul to Dubai, 21 days on Voyager. The itinerary looks really good. Hmmmm....tough choices.
