If Roseanne is coughing a lot at night, it may be allergies. I have same problem, so have taken to taking a Benadryl at bedtime which helps tremendously. She could give it a try.

it was a quiet day yesterday as no other ships in town
but had a great lunch with 7 female crewmemembers yipee!!
yes rosanne was also there

today in corfu sunday and beautiful again!!

sette mari has taken off like crazy
last night 170 covers and peopel waiting to be seating
regent will have to make changes if this continues

people sitting finally at 10 minutes to close extends the time go serve as well as workday for crew some finished at midnight last night and had to be up for breakfast can only do that for a short time

rosanne is feeling better today not much coughing so not sure if air con or allergy either way better today


off to go ashore without tour

a word of advice 31 straight days without a sea day does take its toll

but i would do all again in a heartbeat

we go to voyaguer from here then to nile crusie home for 3 weeks then navigator montreal to miami then home 4 weeks and back on mariner for 35 days back to miami from south america

wonder what to do next year!!

but that would stop us going on tour as this is such a beautiful place and we have not been here for a long time

people are already beginning to pack even though 2 days left

good morning day 2 venice

went out last night for the gondola ride
such a tourist thing but included with regent
regent seems to be tying harder to please guests
on more than one occassion they have added a new tour
it is getting harder and harder to even think of another crusie line

so we leave today and have 10 days left till monte carlo
i got an e mail today from fabrizio(diamond hotel director) and he may come to visit us on ship

that would be nice to see him again

also when we join the voyageur we will hit 500 days when we get to visby sweden and lars olsenn may join for a few days

so looks like busy 3-4 weeks

hello from montenegro

busy last few days with italy again afetr venice then to dubrovnik

we took a private tour through the ship to bosnia and i must say one of the best tours ever teh desinations people hope regent will
add bosnia to teh tours as oceania does it now

who would think that you have to cross bosnia to stay in craotia then continue again to go back into bosnia

some how bosnia has 12 km of land within croatia!!

the guide told us the history throught the 3 hour drive
but things from teh war she would not talk about

just think still 30,000 bodies missing!!


now today in montenegro this again is a beautiful port

and then you get to the new part wow!!!! money money!!!

the tour started going up teh mountain with 27 hairpin turns in a single lane highway with a hugs drop down the side of bus

made an interesting wide and some wet pants!!!

hello from livorno italy

strange 31 straight hot days!!!!

i decided to stay on board today and rest from the tours!!
tomorrow in cannes and then end of this trip
i finally got a cabin number so for sure we join voyageur on the 8th

i am excited to be back on the ship that i left in thailand to go to hospital teh same doctor is on board and i am sure she will be happy to see me in person

she has e mailed me many times to find out about my smoking

and yes again i have stopped for good this time i hope!!

quiet on ship not a whole lot going on

just eat/eat /eat and sleeep(fall down)

Another port where I can't find the ship. Are you docked near the Crystal or Carnival ship? The Crystal Serenity has 3 cams pointing in different ways and I don't see the Mariner anywhere.
I am not sure what these are, boats or ships?

and we are tendering with carnival just ahead of us

went ona nice tour with wine tasting at 2 locations
not all that good as we did not get much info on french wines
i was tempted to ask if we brought italian grapes if we could make french wine in france all in all disapointing yet overall i would say regent tours are a least an A

tomorrow is last day and will fly to stockholm sweden with a days rest before we join voyageur

what i must say is this cruise overall was one of the bestw e have had

they stocked my stomach bitters (went through 2 a day) and even had canadian beer on hand for me

the food was fantastic ( not a big eater) but rosanne enjoyed very much

it was nice that night and day we had same waiter every day
there was also an open order for orange juice each morning and as soon as i sat down at pool bar it was there

i cannot comment on entertainment as we did not even go to one show other than crew capers

the casino took my money as usual

the spa took our money as usual man those prices kill you


the travel desk went above and beyond to ensure all ok

the food an dbeverage people and well as hotel manager checked up on us any time they saw us

what can i say ??


and we end crusie tonight on shore with cruise director jamie and his beatiful wife dana for dinner on shore

i will update once on board the voyageur


and to those who may care i am totally 100% smoke free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went to a fantastic seafood restaurant and ate till we couldnt stuff anymore had shrimo/mussells.crab oysters an whatever else

jamie and dana going home today as well and we will see them again in december on the mariner in south america

many staff came and wished us good bye whereas rosanne wants to say till later!!

well yesterday we boarding in pouring rain
we celoebrated our anniversary with having dinner in prime 7 with the hotel director and paul teh cruise director a great night
a lot of staff came to wish us well

the captain even came to our cabin looking for us to ensure all was well

way to go staff!!

went to casino maede a frew and had fun

this morning in finland and ready for more tours

many new faces here but somehow hey all know us


ps the doctor checked me to see if no smoking and she is please to report that no wheezing is going on

so 100% smoke free!!!!
