Let me think--talent??? Oh, yeah, I'm a great tap dancer--I can tap dance my way out of most any situation. Will be glad to provide tap dancing lessons for those who are interested--we'll call the class "Tap Dance Your Problems Away". It should be really helpful for those of us who are trying to go from Denial to Reality Cheque.

Sue,

Bring those nails along. We can give it a go; however, not sure if they will shatter the cubes.

Peggy,

Your "Tap Dance Your Problems Away" will, no doubt, be a sell-out. We're on for this one, despite that fact that we don't have one single problem, whatsoever, living a very charmed life (keep in mind, we want to live our lives in Denial)! Now that I've said that, I'm sure that at least one will pop up in the 14 months we're waiting to sail on CROSS.

Kathy,

Husband Holler? I know of several people who should consider this event (Wife Holler, too). TUSHee folk are lovers  , not hollerers

Hi All TUSHees,

Just back from a few days on Ocracoke..... look at the start of this thread for the listing of all the xkurchuns so far. If I've missed any, please PM or email me and I'll update. Do we want to do shipboard activities listings also? Let me know.

Beth - Excellent! You keep it up, girl! Hope you had a great weekend.

Thanks so much for summarizing. I'm sure we'll have more good stuff to post between now & our non-departure date of the 30th.

I've just been reading the thread on bubble feeding. Green with envy. Such a wonderful experience that those on TUSH need to experience.

A new xcurshun has come to my attention - Bubble blowing. We've spared no expense importing some guppies from the wild and placed them in a tank complete with all that's necessary to give the effect that they are swimming in their natural enviroment.

The 99 Cents Store was running an incredible deal on bubbles - 100 bottles with wands for a mere 99 cents!

Sign up soon. This one is going to be a sell-out!

How about this?

Coat the plastic bubble ring with the fish food, dip in bubble solution, blow bubble into guppy tank, and step away from the tank. Those guppies morph into pirahnas with all that free food!

Cheers, Anne

I'm not sure if this is the thread to put this on but as I was not lucky enough to have my name called out on BLISS for the free cruise, I was wondering if it would be possible for us to run on TUSH, a competition for a non-cruise. I'm sure Ngaire would be happy to donate one.

Fantastic suggestion, Lee!

Beth, could we please add the Bubble Blowing/Feeding and Win a Free Non-Cruise to that terrific list? Thank you!

Beth, instead of the Northern Lights, we can see Outer Space Life! I DID see the distinctive trail of a UFO using preselect #8 and the zoom feature.

This is going to be an excellent viewing opportunity for us TUSHees!

Anne, There isn't alot of action on the Insanity Cam today... maybe the weekends will be more active. Love playing with the controls. Maybe we can check it out at night and tilt the camera up to see what kinds of lights they have in the sky where ever this cam is located.

Anne, I briefly read through it a bit today. Will get back to it later. Still waiting for more action than the water lapping the side of the pool.

Dear Tushees, a few days ago you were looking for VW vans for the trip to Denial. I did not want to say anything and get your hopes up, but, yes, Grant has agreed to lend you his very own 1965 VW Bus. This is quite a coup because it is one of his most treasured possessions. Unfortunately it is not the "Vanagon" type you were looking for, but it is the "Safari Top" model which could make it ideal also for non-ROAR2. You can see the loving care with which it has been treated.

(This is really his van - stored at his parents' house because there is no room here - he's had it for years because he's going to restore it "someday"...)

Enjoy, lucky Tushees!

Dena,

Please give Grant a very big hug from the TUSHees! How generous of him to loan us his prized van! That's one groovy van!

BTW, I knew Grant restored cars. He never mentioned the hippie van. Tell him I want a ride up the coast in that van when you guys get back - to recapture my hippie days! If he wants a place to store it, we can take care of that. I promise to drive it just to work and back ;)

Dena, We want two reservations on the Denial Van trip from Randy and me. Can't we use this for our transfer to Denail? I'll bring the brownies!!! This will go great with the tie-dyed sheets activity on the Minnow.

Beth,

I had posted part of this on the Bad News/Good News thread. However, I am copying this on this one as well, to be transferred to your ever-growing list -

This will, indeed, be an over-the-moon experience. And, speaking of moon, what would a TUSHee non-cruise be without mooning? I think we should consider a TUSHee mooning, on the Observation deck. How about a TUSHee mooning at non-sailaway? Or, perhaps we could muster a TUSHee mooning after muster.

Kindly add Mooning on the Observation deck. A big thank you!

BTW, those brownies your bringing wouldn't happen to be Alice B. Toklas brownies, would they? It's the extra ingredients in those that give it just the right umph!

Mooning on the Observation Deck? Can we invite the Non-Cruiselocity Knome to join us? [Linked Image]

This will be another great non-shipboard activity.

Beth,
Your knome reminded me of something. We went with some friends on a Crystal Cruise to Alaska. We are avid cityphiles (is that a word?)
I did not want to go to Alaska and be immersed in nature for two weeks -*shudder*
I knew I was in trouble when the xkurchun brochure said "enjoy a day walking through the forest searching for bear movements..."

In keeping with our SS Minnow theme, possibilities for the "name our TUSH mascot" include:

Lovee
Thurston
Ginger
Gilligan
