Gail and I leave from IAD about noon on Saturday, arriving in CPT late afternoon on Sunday. Have already made dinner reservations for Sunday and Monday.

Have a very safe trip. It's wonderful you can fly direct from IAD. Where are you dining?
For a real change of pace, try Forty Ate for dinner. It was one of the most unique dining experiences I have had anywhere in the world.

Thanks. We're looking forward to flying SAA--used a lot of miles to fly BC. Reservations are at Den Anker on Sunday and Savoy Cabbage on Monday.

I am packed and ready to head back to South Africa. I am very excited about going back I jumping right into 3 days in Botswana. DFW to Chicago - London - Johannesburg. COACH all the way this time. Land in JNB early am and two hours later fly to Maun(Botswana) and then a charter flight to a Eagle Island camp and a game drive in the afternoon. Think I will be awake - you bet.
Next day I fly to another camp and will meet up with another TUSKER for one night who is already over there doing an 8 day pre Botswana itinerary. We will be together at Khawhai River Lodge.
Then to Chobe and Sauvute Elephant Camp for one night. Then Maun to JNB to CPT to meet all the other Tuskers and off to Birkenhead.
Julie leaves on Thursday and is going to straight to Birkenhead House the lucky girl will be there about 5 nights altogether.
Debbie will be sitting in my chair. Be gentle with her she is still recovering from MUSH.
This time ROARERS - I have pretty colored luggage tags so I dont have to stand in one place and flap my arms like a plane!

TUSKers, have a wonderful, WONDERFUL time. Ngaire sent me your itinerary months ago to give us first-time safari goers a general idea of what to expect from ROAR 2. I can tell you that by now, I almost have it memorized - the pages are flaking/folded!
Do enjoy every minute, we'll be back here waiting with bated breath to hear all about it!

Marcie, I'm not sure you will find one because Ngaire has mentioned that practically none of the TUSKers participates on LCT. I'm one of the exceptions. When we received our documents, we also received a list of participants and brief bios that we had submitted. Now, all we have to do is finish packing.
