Well, I've resisted this post as long as possible..... looks like we will not be going along on TUT. Had some health things, all is well, but don't think the trip is going to work. you cannot imagine how disapointed we are! We will be with you all in spirit.....Our very best wishes for the best trip ever!!!!

I think David is only guy like Tony they brings more clothes than we do - I remember you and I would chat pre cruise about all the pants, shirts and jackets they were bringing ;) ;) :hug: :hug: on that subject I have made semi list (can't live these days without them) and bringing 7 outfits for dinner and wearing them twice - period!!!

TRANSFER UPDATE FOR TUT

Hi all, just wanted to update everyone using the private transfer, that since one couple had to cancel, there are now only 18 instead of 20, so the rate as gone up slightly to 27euros per couple including gratuity.

I will be confirming everything for the dinner and transfer next week with Spiros.

See everyone soon, can't wait. We fly out two weeks from tomorrow!

I think we have 8 hrs of phone time with our move up level to plat - we'll never use that amount not the type to call our adult kids every day from a cruise - but if anyone needs to call home let me know as long as it is NOT during my naptime ;) ;)

VERY cool, Joanna - as lowly "Silvers" we have 1 hour which I doubt we'll use up, but it's good to know we can knock on your door in a pinch! But NOT at nap time, for sure. ;)

hehe...Count on us too Kristin, no idea how much phone time we get ? but it's a lot more than we could ever dream of using and we don't nap :D

I don't think I have ever used a minute of my phone time except on MUSH when we were delayed on Mariner for a pod problem, and they gave it free to everyone anyway to change air reservations not booked through Regent! I do love the internet, though!

I have also only used the phone time that one time on MUSH. What I am looking forward to (eventually) is the free laundry. On TUT, I think we will be in the laundry room a couple of times doing our own laundry. :(

Suzie and Marilyn, we will surely miss the two off our on our EXODUS journey. ;)

I thought I had hit the pot of gold with unlimited free pressing (that used to be with Gold) but this free laundry thing is to die for! LOVE IT! Except those laundry stickers (with your cabin #) will pull off the threads in the seams of your polo shirts when you remove them! I would just leave them there, except I bring the same clothes, and don't want it sent to wrong cabin!

We love the free laundry --now if I can just get Jerry to pare down his packing accordingly --he's still thinking a 30 day cruise must mean he should bring 30 shirts . We actually do use some of our however-many-hours of phone time. Our grandkids love to get phone calls from out of the way places. Their favorite is the time we called from Zanzibar. They'll probably be pretty impressed getting a call from Israel too.

Counting down the days ....

I just noticed that the documents say we will be docking at every port. Can that be right? I wouldn't have thought a ship the size of the Voyager could dock at Santorini or Mykonos. Any insights?

That is good news Priscilla. My recollection on B2B was I thought we tendered in Mykonos, but I could very well not be remembering that right. I haven't really gone over the documents with a fine tooth comb, just glanced thru to make sure everything seemed right. Hope to do that one night this week.

Hard to beleive, two weeks, after a year and a half planning, its finally almost there.

Had a great weekend in NC for the BAMA DUKE game, beautiful campus, maybe one of the prettiest we've ever seen. ROLL TIDE! Very hot and sticky at the game, but it was fun and we had fun having the whole family there, along with our neice and her family. Glad to be home, and just waiting for the littlest Grandkids to arrive for their three days with us.

Then......then......packing time! WooHoo!!!

Just received a pre-arrival phone call from the Grande Bretagne asking if there was anything they could arrange for us. Not sure how we got on that "list" as we are just basic Starwood members and are paying the low price of $150 plus points. Nice!

Wow that's nice Leslie. Word has traveled that you and Brad are "royalty". I hope you told them that you're traveling with a large LCT group and ALL would love getting an upgrade. :)

Leslie I received email from the hotel as they said did not have my phone number - I thought it was a nice gesture and look forward to our return visit.

OMG, they just called here too, how impressive !!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay last time - loved our room with two small french balconies! And we used cash and points both times - room was big with separate sitting area - who knows what we'll get this time but the location is wonderful.

There is still space. ;)

ummmmmm we didn't get a call!!! Guess we are just not in the same league. Now we are just out and out paying for our room, even though Frank is a Starwood member and the booking is under that number, but maybe they were just calling those using points? Interesting.

We didn't get a call/email from GB, either, and this will be our 4th time staying there, and we're SPG as well. Ohhhh well. As long as they have a room for us, we'll be happy! :)

Maybe you'll get the call tomorrow - we have no status with Starwood and it certainly is not a big dollar booking. The call was basically asking if we needed a transfer, dinner reservations or spa treatments.

I guess in hindsight I should have requested fresh flowers on the balcony overlooking the Acropolis? Probably not getting that upgrade...

I just can't believe we leave in 9 days!? After all this anticipation! Gotta pinch myself. But I'll wait until we land in Athens to do that. ;)
