I am not sure about no formal nights. Would sure make the packing easier if it is only CCC and or informal.

In 2001 somebody way up the ladder proclaimed that Alaska just didn't lend itself to formal nights, and they would all be CCC. I haven't kept up, so don't know if that's still the case; I surely do hope so.

On MUSH in 2006, there were no "formal" nights, just one "informal" for the Captain's welcome aboard night. The rest were CCC. Fairly certain that has not changed.

I thought that the first Alaska cruise of the season, that comes up from California, usually has a formal night or two.

We are also on this cruise (601) and did a similiar cruise in 2008. They had Formal and Informal nights -- maybe they will change it for next year (?)

Please add Bobby & Marti to the roll call (cabin 733). We had the pleasure of meeting Ralph & Carol and Ray & Pat on the Norway cruise last year and look forward to being with more of the LCT family this May/June in Alaska. This will be our 3rd Alaska cruise and hopefully we will have the same great weather we enjoyed on a similar cruise on the Mariner in 2008.

It has been a while since this came up, but because Pat could not find it and the cruise is coming up soon I made this post so others can find it easily and see who is on the roll call.

So sorry you are canceling Pam! We will miss seeing you. I hope Mark is feeling better soon.
We received our docs a couple of days ago, so it is nice to review what we signed up for and begin thinking about the the trip. We are taking the Mount St. Helens, Misty Fjord Seaplane, Mendenhall and Worthington Glacier Hikes, Duck Flats Sea Kayaking, the White Pass Scenic Railroad and Sea Otter and Wildlife Quest excursions.
