Not sure where to post this, I am looking at a land trip to Paris in Apr (how corny!)and ran across these 2 airlines that are apparently all business class and are pretty reasonable. So reasonable that I am wondering, has anyone had any experience with either? ------------------ Helen

No experience but I believe they both fly to London's secondary airports - Stansted I believe so connecting to Paris could be a bit of a hassle.
Also, I don't think I would book this far in advance, I'm not sure how financially stable they are (just my opinion - no data to back this up).

Well thanks for the response, peteropny. I just could not resist the bargain, got 5 tix from LAX to Stansted in what is advertised to be all business class for $7700. I thought about the financial aspect but decided to take the chance. We will spend a few days in London and then the chunnel to Paris. I will certainly post the results, if they are still flying in April!

Very tempting deal, Ms, especially out of LAX.
L'Avion is flying direct from Newark to Paris (I believe it's Orly airport). They use a 757. Same idea as MaxJet/EOS. EOS has the most comfortable seats/highest prices Silverjet is midway in comfort & price between MaxJet and Eos. Flies from Newark to Luton MaxJet is older-style business (not as much recline) at the best prices. I booked some tickets on Silverjet. The ticketing process was such a mess I cancelled them.
Continental (and most of the other majors) usually runs around $2400 per person round trip for a non-refundable, restricted availability business fair (R class) New York to London Gatwick. Between June & September, the prices are a bit lower.
Cheers, Anne

Welcome home Anne. The ticketing was a breeze on MAx. I stupidly bought tickets JFK to London, realized my mistake when the confirmation came, called on the phone spoke with someone with a good command of English and got a new confirmation on the right flight 10 minutes later. So I have hope! I looked seriously at EOS but their fares were about the same as Business class on any of the legacies and all things being equal I would have preferred someone I was fairly certain would still be aorund in Apr 08, so went with Max for about $600 less per ticket than the lowest bus class fare I could find on the 'big boys". Wish us luck as the risk I have taken is that 2 10 year olds may be very disappointed! ----------------- Helen

That's very good to hear, Helen. Thanks for letting me know. It's only about six hours from here to London; when MaxJet puts a sale on, that would be most tempting.
Cheers, Anne
