I was rather surprised to receive this delivery today, along with a sweet rewards check from BK!

Wendy, you would love the moleskin folder for this one. It is big enough even for my shoes, as they included a spiral booklet in an outside pocket!

Yay!! I received my delivery today too Olivia. Let's get dancin'!!

(I was also happy to receive the sweet rewards check - it's going along with us on Sea Dream on Sunday!!)

I got it today, also! Looking forward to reading through the "expedition notebook." It was a pleasant surprise to receive the package and especially the rewards check so early.

Does everyone have all of their cold weather gear ready? Being Californians, we've had to buy a few things, but I think we are just about set. We've been freezing the last week or so as the temperatures have been getting down in the 40's at night. :D

Dena

WAY Cool, your ICE doc dance has begun!!!!
Enjoy!!!

Dena, I have not bought a thing to keep me warm! Rather, I went to the websites suggested by Fred and Pat, and found the bargain stuff and sent those out to my kids since they wanted "wish lists" for Christmas. What I don't get, I will order later. Can't be too complicated with all the information we have, especially from Freddie and Pat and Ngaire.

Congratulations, Olivia, Andrea and Dena!

And oh my gosh Andrea, :app:

Have a wonderful time on Sea Dream, Andrea.

Still waiting for ICE docs!

Cheers, Anne

Thanks Kristin and Anne!! I'm hoping we actually make it...bad weather is expected here on Friday and Sunday, and my travel mojo hasn't been so good this year.

We'll keep our fingers crossed about the weather, Andrea! Those ice storms look so nasty.

Olivia, definitely good to have others shop for you!

Andrea, have a great time on Sea Dream - I think we'd be interested in trying them some day so we'll look forward to hearing all about it.

Dena

Congrats to you all! Won't be long now!

An e-mail birdie says "the docs are in!"

Andrea ????? Are you sailing???? Fingers xrossed!

Cheers, Anne

Got our docs today....The dancing can start but reading the spiral book will have to wait until after Christmas. I am busy getting ready for a crowd of nearly 30 on Christmas Day!

Cheers, Pam

Wishing all of the ICE'ers calm seas. We sure wish we were on this one with all of you.

WE WILL NEED LOTS OF SEA MAIL!

Unfortunately, I don't think we have internet on the ship!

Olivia, you will have the ability to e-mail so you can send your reports to someone to post for you - that's what we did from the Hanseatic.

Aha, that's how you did it. I know I was hanging on for every report!

Olivia - think Leslie would volunteer to be our poster girl for ICE?

hoping .. hoping ..

Cheers, Anne

Sure - just e-mail me your reports and I will paste them into the sea mail topic for you lickety-split.

yes!!!!! What's the record POOCH score we have to beat for the world championship?

Thanks very much, Leslie! Cheers, Anne

Thanks Leslie, Maybe some of us can combine our reports for LCT to prevent too much duplicating with a difficult email situation.

Some of us will probably be doing a travelogue on our laptop to post when we return.
Jim

Anne - the inaugural LCT pooch championship on the Hanseatic was (narrowly) won by Brad, and that was at the 11th hour as Ngaire, Ken, Peggy, Jerry, Brad & I awaited our flights in the Admirals Club in Buenos Aires. We used the original scoring - with the new method that rewards positive bidding the scores will be higher so you shouldn't have any problem beating his score.

Jim - I wouldn't worry about combining emails - everyone back here will be eager to hear it all and see your travelogues when you return.

Now to find penguin playing cards .. or playing cards featuring icebergs. Thanks, Leslie. We will seek the championships on board since we are not Admirals Club members!

Docs arrived in the dark of night .. and are in order.

Yet another piece of proof positive I'm paying to go back into cold weather after having put up with it for free for the first 36 years of my life. Penguins, get ready for your close ups!

Cheers, Anne

Anne,

I already looked for penguin playing cards.....spent an hour on the internet looking at numerous sites and did not find any. Maybe you will have luck.

Cheers, Pam

You will easily be able to find penguin cards when you get to the Falklands - they have gift shops in town that sell penguin everything!

Anne...we did make the cruise - but just barely! I have quite the story to tell. Sitting in the Admirals Club at SJU right now awaiting our flight home to Boston. I will give a full report, but we did love Sea Dream - especially after the chaos we experienced trying to get to SJU last Sunday!

Andrea, I was hoping you were able to get to your cruise. Can't wait to hear about it.

Nancy

Andrea - welcome home! Glad you enjoyed the trip. I'll look forward to your report. I figured if you'd missed it, we'd have heard from you before now.

See you in a month, and give our very best to Jerel!

Cheers, Anne
