Thank you Karen for posting these pics. I thought they were ok considering they were shot with a point and shoot canon G7. The leopard's pictures were shot at the Khawai River Lodge in Botswanna. It was early morning and a mangy hyena stole its kill(an Impala) and the poor leopard was up a tree eating a dead buzzard.(took over 20 shots) Then it finally came down and had his meal of Impala.
The "copulating cats" were also shot in the morning. Interesting tale here...since there were far too many lions in Madikwe they sterilized this old lion...so he could only shoot blanks....poor thing.
Also, it seems the lioness makes all the moves and the old lion just follows her.
I am very pleased with my pics except for no whales... :mecry: :mecry: :mecry:
Some nice people shots . Pat

great shot of the leopard up the tree. You and Ray made great jeep-mates.
We saw the same lion pair...darn I didn't know he was sterile.

Ah well Arlene...neither does "Leo" Had a ball with you as well.
For all those not there, we had our own VERY RARE, " Yellow crested green throated Giggler" in our jeep. We tried to get a shot of it but it was too fast for us.
