It is about 35 degrees bright and sunny
yet 18 miles west of us all roads are closed.
Guess this area had up to 80 mph winds with
heavy snow fall. Drifts are very large.
In Montana they brought in two rotery plows from
around Red Lodge because the normal ones could not move the snow from the highways.

Oh And now I go out to the car
and my windshield has a big crack in it.
When we were driving to Rapid City a truck threw
up rocks. One got us and now it started to run.

We are home!!!!! :nw: :woh:
Got here at noon.
No problems with roads but oh my were
there some large drifts on the sides of the road
in places. Could see cars buried to their roof lines

Today is Wednesday April 1st.
I am finally back to work today.
Sick sick sick is all I can say.
After we got home last Thursday
I did go to the office for awhile on Friday
but realized that was not going to work.
Went home Friday afternoon and just today
feel marginally well enough to be here.
Jan missed Friday worked Monday for 4 hours
missed Tuesday, and went to work yesterday.
Tough getting sick after a wonderful cruise.

Well well well.
Remember how Jan and I had a canceled flight
from MSP to Rapid City, then the roads were closed.
Just received $326. from the travel insurnace company.
that kind of takes the edge off the nightmare.
