Good morning everyone! We have been on the Voyager since May 26 and today we are sailing to La Coruna, Spain from Lisbon, Portugal. We have been enjoying our first time on the Voyager and participating in the Food and Wine Circle of Interest programs. We started the cruise in Rome and will disembark in Dover. It is an excellent itinerary. We are in a Penthouse B butler suite. We upgraded because of a special promotion from Regent and it has been a nice perk, but as others have mentioned on this forum it is probably not worth paying a lot to upgrade from a regular suite. The squarish layout of the cabin is nice as are the afternoon canapes, but I think we are gaining extra pounds!!!

Hi Sundial!

I am glad you are enjoying Voyager and the cruise. You are going to my favorite area in Spain, northern Spain. I hope you get to go to Santiago!

Please write again,

Hi Sue - glad you are enjoying your trip. You are doing just the opposite of what we did two years ago, we started in Dover and went all the way to Rome. Fantastic trip, and since it was our first time in Europe, we felt we got a good variety of Spain, France and Italy.

Glad you like the Penthouse B suite and got such a good deal on it. We too like the B's for the layout as you said. We have a B this year for CROSS, but next year on B2B we are in a standard suite, and we've done those as well and they are great.

Thanks for checking in, look forward to more reports.

Well we made it back home although we are still waiting for our luggage but is is expected this evening. Otherwise everything went very smoothly. We had a wonderful itinerary and the Voyager is a great ship. Some of the food in Compass Rose was outstanding (chateaubriand) and some was mediocre (hungarian goulash) and we experienced a few little glitches with service such as a baked potato that never arrived, but no major issues. All three of the alternative restaurants were outstanding. We used Regent's air, hotel in Rome, and shore excursions and we participated in two of their Food and Wine Circle of Interest programs. We were quite satisfied with our choices. As always I appreciate the information that I receive on this forum!!!

Sue
