Has anyone been on an SS cruise that included a complimentary Silver Experience? We are going on Wind in March and are supposed to have such included at Prickly Pear in Virgin Gorda.

I just wondered about how many people go on included excursions and if it has ever been a mess.

Debbie, I wish I could help, but on four SS cruises, we have never had one of the Silver Experiences. However, that being said, I would find it hard to believe that they wouldn't be fully prepared for everybody on the ship.

Maybe somebody else has been on one and can help.

This "experience" was mentioned when we booked and is described in the 2007 brochure. I don't see it on the site now when I look at our voyage. I hope they still have it. We enjoyed The Baths in VG before but are looking forward to this other experience. We found the BVI so captivating that we picked this itinerary to see even more. The draw of them organizing something was high since that was a compelling feature of the Seabourn cruise I almost booked with a similar itinerary.

Debbie, you will really enjoy Prickly Pear, it's a small island but the beach and snorkling there was really great when I was there during a bareboat trip. It's big enough that I don't thing the number of people would make it a big mess. You can snorkel at the beach edge. I would love to go back to Prickly Pear again.

Thanks, Karen. Do we need to bring our own snorkeling gear there? Is there a certain spot we should look for to see anything snorkeling?
