Ahh, what a wonderful time! As I suspected (and hoped), many of Silversea's best staff were on board in anticipation of the World Cruise. So service was impeccable most everywhere.

I will try to write a review up ASAP, but I didn't keep any notes - we were having too much fun with all our friends!

Welcome back, Kristin. Can't wait to hear more. Did you meet Marcie and her husband?

Hey there Don! I am VERY anxious to hear about SAND, too, when I get unburied!

Not sure what all staff you are interested in, but the Captain was Marco Sangiacomo (didn't really show his face much), Hotel Director was Rene' Peter, CD was Frank Freeman (Elton John lookalike, won't be onboard for WC). Fernando was onboard but not sure in what capacity - we had met him "two Whispers ago".

Marilyn (12 years), Christina and Justin in the main bar, Librado (12 years), Nerick, Amafe, Roland, Rolando the pool bar. Waitstaff included Alberto, Lucio, Agnieska, and LOTS of other familiar faces whom we never had the chance to dine with. Milo was the Sommelier.

I know I am forgetting lots.

We had the biggest treat when we got onboard and walked into the restaurant for lunch - Agnes (from Hungary), who we'd met on the Paul Gauguin in June, was there. We were just THRILLED! For you PG'ers who know Glen (best bartender ever, and most handsome ;) ) from the La Pallette, Agnes is his wife. She serves wine in LaTerrazza now.

I just can't say enough about the staff!!!

Fernando and Marilyn - absolute stars for Silversea both of them.

Agnes -- what a treat that was. I have found this before the staff seems to move between ships at times.

This is all sounding very good and getting me very excited for March 19. How were the menus? Was the variety good for 9 days?

How was Shadow vs. Whisper? Much different?

We are going on Wind next time. We will see some new places, including Sandy Lane so Todd can golf. I hope the smaller ship will be as good as the bigger ones. One notable difference for us is the lack of Silver Links 365 program.

I am glad to hear service was really good and you had some of the best staff. I can think of a few I'd like to see.

I hope you came home to a great holiday.

Thanks everyone! I've posted my review as well, under the review section. I know I have left lots of things out because I didn't keep notes...so ask away if something is missing!

Debbie, the Shadow and Whisper are identical - both so gorgeous. We prefer the larger ships, but our "maiden voyage" was on the Wind. I know you and Todd will love it!

Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks. I didn't think Shadow and Whisper were quite identical due to different times of updates, so I thought there were one or two discrepancies.

I am glad you think we will love Wind. I hope so. I just can't wait. I am watching that ticker, and I am watching my 82 days waiting for the 60 when I can set up the rest of the trip. Will miss the separate shower and the golf program, but Todd will still get to golf in Sandy Lane, and we can stand in the tub to shower. I'm thinking intimate.

With so many of the sales either being gone or slow to come, I am getting high expectations for the next 2 years on SS.
