This is great news Sue! I guess Netflix is in order so he can load up on DVD's to pass his time while housebound. Keep us posted....he's lucky to have such a caring Mom!

Sue and Tom, I am late to this thread, just seeing it as I haven't had had much time to spend online lately. Wonderful to hear how well your son is doing. Dealing with a disability is a huge life-long challenge, and it sounds as if he has shown exceptional strength and courage in facing down his spina bifida. All the best for his ongoing good health and recovery from this latest surgery.
