Some of you know this already but many of you don't, we had to put sweet Billie to sleep the day after Thanksgiving as she had a tumor on her throat. :(

I took her to the vet for what I thought was a fur ball but it turned out to be something quite different, who would of thought that at 3 months, she would have a tumor.

I was so crushed that I couldn't talk about it for some time but now I have a new baby that is helping me be a little less sad!
If I had a psychiatrist, I am sure that they would have something to say about this but I set out to "clone" Billie. I searched online until I found a kitten that resembled Billie and I found one on the other side of Ohio, lol. So last week, my girlfriend and I went on a road trip and went to pick up Ellie :)

I was all prepared to take in this kitten but I was quite sure that she wouldn't be as sweet and cute as Billie was, I am so glad I was wrong! Ellie has turned out to be the most loving and sweet kitten and she doesn't seem to like to play in my pile of computer wires or climb up my drapes, as her dear sister loved to do! ;)

You and Mark loved Billie so very much. She brought a lot of happiness into your lives, unfortunately, for too brief a time.

This was the first I heard of the need to put Billie to sleep. I'm so sorry. If I remember correctly, Billie found you; she certainly found the right couple to provide her with lavish love for her short life.

Oh Karen, I'm so sorry to hear about Billie :( I can certainly understand how that would be difficult for you to post until now. I am sure she will hold very special memories for you and Mark.
