I hear tonight's performance by my man MiG is incredible! J.D. - crash & burn.

Andrea, did you see Sunday nights show on VH1? INXS chose the songs for them to sing on tonights show! One of them got Brittany Spears, "Hit me baby one more time" and I think but can't remember for sure, that it was MiG!

JD makes for good entertainment :)

Sunday's show was great! I had "Stop Go" in my head for hours.

Marty got "Hit me baby one more time" - should be interesting. MiG got Peter Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way".

That's what I love about Mark Burnett - he always finds someone I love to hate!

Andrea, that might of been my favorite episode so far! Marty, MiG and Jordis gave me chills!

I can see MiG fronting the band. If they don't want to recreate a whole new INXS, I think he is the perfect choice.

WOW! MiG has to take this. He's always been good, but tonight's performance...I hardly have words. We had to rewind the DVR & watch it again! :)

Oh yes, Karen, BOTH of those. Do you watch "The Apprentice" too? I don't know about the Martha version... ?? I don't think I can get Greg interested in that.

On a more serious reality note...my other favorite show for years and years (ever since it debuted) has been America's Most Wanted. The work John Walsh has done is beyond words.

Kristin, I hate to admit, I watch them all with the exception of the Bachelor, that mean chef one and that boxing one that just ended recently.
I even watched The Beauty and the Geek, which I found entertaining :)

Karen, I am much like you. I don't watch any of those you mentioned, but I did watch The Swan when it was on, and even Joe Millionaire. Of course, there's also American Idol...

It's kind of embarrassing but I like that stuff! I still think the Amazing Race is the best, and Survivor comes in a close 2nd.

I suppose I should watch this before I say anything. But how do you revise this group when the lead singer is below ground? He dominited that whole group for years. The Doors tried this and flopped. But the magic of TV is a strange animal. What takes off, takes off.

I miss my Tivo when I'm on the road, if I see another girl eat a worm I may be the one that gets sick. To each his own I guess.

Chip, I guess kinda like Van Halen did? Though, I never liked them after Sammy Hagar became the lead singer, many people do.

I wish they would do more good movies of the old groups. Bette Middler did Janis Joplin. Vil Kilmer did Jim Morrison. By the way it was Elvis's birthday yesterday down here in Nashville. A very big deal.

I know what you mean Chip. I can't say I was actually a huge fan of INXS when MH was the singer. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I have a girlfriend who is a Duran Duran fan, we always battle over who was better as I was a huge INXS fan. Those Duran Duran song lyrics always seemed silly to me!

My sister loved Duran Duran! I never could see what the big attraction was...of course, I was too busy listening to Def Leppard and Night Ranger. Ah, the good ole days!

Each time I watch this show, I notice just how good that backup band is! Gotta give them props.

The encore by MiG was fantastic - and what a standup guy he is, asking Jordis & Marty to sing with him. This guy has stolen America's hearts, including mine!

Wow MiG wow...it was even better than last night. I've heard he is just the nicest guy, and he really showed it tonight. What a great gesture. Jordis was great too - I admire anyone who can harmonize since I've never been able to.

Andrea, great site! Wow!!! Although I shouldn't be surprised that he has this kind of following! He is a class act, that is for sure. I think (& hope!) he will be the winner. He is the best fit with the band, in addition to all the other things that he is!

Uh oh, I am sure this will make everyone who hates reality shows THRILLED... there is some kind of show on Bravo that my husband just watched, a battle of all the reality stars. Even I admit, that's taking it a little TOO far! I vow NOT to watch that...I already watch too much TV!

If you think that's bad, you should start watching "Kill Reality" on E!. It's a show that follows reality stars while they film the movie "Kill Reality" - with some of our all time favorites like Johnny Fairplay, Jenna Lewis, Jenna Morasco & Ethan Zohn from Survivor.

Andrea, did you happen to see Family Feud the other day - Johnny Fairplay, Richard Hatch, Sue Hawk, Ethan, etc. were on - it was cute!

I still can't believe Richard Hatch didn't report his winnings to the IRS. Like he can hide something like that! He's only the most popular Survivor winner of all of them! DUH!!!

Kristin, I missed it. I loved Survivor Africa with Ethan - in fact, that's how I became so interested in going to Africa.

Can you believe it's been 5 years since Survivor premiered? Seems like yesterday!

I watched a show on Bravo last night called Battle of the Network Reality Stars or something like that. Richard Hatch, Sue Means, Dr. Will and Mike "Boogie" Malin from Big Brother, Myrna and Charla, Chip and his wife from Amazing Race, Victoria and JONATHAN....lots more that I am forgetting!

Just read this thread and have to admit that I loved INXS and Duran Duran. Agree that Duran Duran's songs were fluffy but they were awfully catchy and some of the guys in the band were cute too! :) So glad to see INXS back and hope that Mig wins! The house band is amazing, aren't they?

Did everyone watch last nights episode on VH1? I was so happy that MiG's wife (Simeone) was able to see him!! Can't wait to see tomorrow's songs and if he does his original or not.

Andrea, I really wanted to see JD and Marty do their original songs! If there is any area that JD shines the most, it's being original :) As for Marty, The song he was singing before they found out that only 2 songs would be used, was haunting and I would of loved to of heard it.

I am sure MiG will do great too, the more I see his personality, the more I just love him! The look on his face when Simone snuck up behind him was priceless!

He's genuinely a nice guy and I'd like to see that rewarded. I'm a little apprehensive about MiG's original song though given the house band's comments so far ... :(

Gee, I had a hard time picking a favorite tonight. I think I will cast my vote for MiG. Jordis's song just wasn't up her alley, JD was boring and Marty was good but he reminded me a bit too much of Iggy Pop!

Actually, I thought JD was the best tonight (much as I detest him as a person). Ty next and MiG after that. Jordis might be in danger after this one though I suspect it's going to be Deanna.

Karen - I never thought about the comparison to Iggy Pop and Marty. He does do "anguished" very well, doesn't he?

I don't think anyone has mentioned this before - but don't you guys think Brooke Burke's outfits are HIDEOUS?! They seem to keep getting worse from week to week! If there were any one thing I would change about that show, it would be, get someone else to host it! I don't think Brooke does a very good job. Everyone else's thoughts?

Kristen, when the show first began we wondered why Carmen Electra wasn't hosting, but I think she had a scheduling conflict with filming Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Too bad, because Brooke is awful. I still haven't recovered from the mini mini skirt she wore a couple of weeks ago.

I actually didn't watch the show until this morning (redecorating is exhausting).

The only singer I really don't like at ALL is JD. He and I would be oil & water - I can just tell. I don't like that attitude of his.

I really felt for Jordis - I agree, her performance was excruciating. Incredible how one week they can sound brilliant and the next just terrible. All depends on the song, I guess!
