Looks like a great list of stops; thankfully they are not including Africa and India again for the 30th time. :D

I loved the Africa stops but I thought there was way too many South American stops last year. Thanks for posting the route, Marc!

Editing to add, I found a spoiler map that also lists two Prague stops like Marc posted. The sightings and location thread at this forum is pretty interesting!

Wow, I have so many favorites already! Zev and Justin, the Globetrotters and the brothers are really fun to watch! They all seem to have manners and are kind people.
On the other hand, the two poker playing girls are at the opposite end of that spectrum. I also don't like the guy with the giant arms, blah.

I think this is going to be a great season even if I think the beginning of the episode was not right, (I don't want to spoil it for the West coasters) I would have been really bummed.

There were soooooooo many commercials.I need to get a DVR.

I agree with your favs, Karen. And the vegans were doomed anyway, tho it would have been interesting to see what they would have done with the sushi challenge.

This is the first time I've watched The Amazing Race ( I wish I had started sooner!!) and I am hooked.

That jerkface lawyer can't get off of my screen soon enough. The poker girls could have some entertainment value, I wouldn't mind if they stuck around for a bit.

The "duck whisperer" bit seriously cracked me up.

The duck whisperer was pretty funny and I cracked up when the Globetrotter said the wasabi bomb tasted "like money"

I agree with your favorites, Karen! I also like the father & son team from Montana. I think they have some patching up to do - what a great way to connect again!

with the father and son team from
Laurel Montana on I just had to watch some of it.
They did very well huh?

Laurel is about 12 miles west of Billings in case
anyone is interested. It is a big BNSF / Montana Rail link switching yard.

I was really happy with the first 2 eliminations, because other than jerkface lawyer I liked all of the teams. I think that's a first!

Isn't it funny how instant the first impression is?! As soon as he opened his mouth, Greg said, "I don't like this guy." It took me about 5 minutes, then I agreed with him!

Bummer!!! I have never been so sad to see a team go and what an awful way to go!
Next week in Dubai looks very interesting.

That was a sad way to exit the show. I can't decide which teams I like. The zebra couple are fun as are the father-son team. The bickering engaged couple are one of my least favorites.

I am rooting for the two brothers and the father and son now.

I like the Globetrotters. They respect each other. Father/son too, cuz they are more alike than either wants to admit. The brothers a little bicker-y for me. I miss the Goths, they were my most favorite ever.

Editing to add that after watching that, I think they should give them until the next mornings departure time to find their passports and if they can't then they are eliminated.

It appeared that Z&J "volunteered" when they finished that they were missing a passport ... what if they had said nothing ... would another team have been eliminated, at least until the following morning?

BTW, did anyone notice that there was no mention of anyone winning a "prize" for that leg of the race?

Yes, I noticed that there was no mention of anyone winning a "prize" for that leg of the race. This was not the first time in TAR history for that to happen, but it is rare.

Thanks for posting that link, Luke, I just watched it. I remember other times when passports had gone missing that we did not know about it until the beginning of the next leg when the team was unable to continue. It was really a shame that such a great team had to go out like this.

I guess my favorite teams are the father/son and the Harlem Globetrotters. When we saw the photo of Jackie Kennedy Onassis I said to my husband "The father of the father/son team will probably be the only one who will know who she is." It was fun to hear all the other guesses.

Luke, my "inside scoop" is that each team must not only hit the mat but must check in with all travel docs and their "clue" too.
W/o the lawyer all teams are "nice" which actually makes for less compelling viewing, dont you think? Really, what was the point of the brothers waiting for the girls to get another car? They werent stranded out on the road.

True, most of the remaining players are "nice" but I would not be surprised to see the girls and brothers start to play a little harder with each other. Mika may well freak out completely at some point. The lawyer just annoyed the heck out of me and made watching the show unpleasant when he was on screen.

When they showed the previews for the water slide next week and Mika freaking out about it, I could of swore it was the slide at Atlantis in the Bahamas but I don't think that is on their route?

I wonder if Mika knew what she was signing up for, I can't imagine her bungie jumping if she is so afraid of heights.

Well, I missed a lot, but tuned in last night. I may be a sap, and may have missed too much, but I kinda like the beauty queen and her husband....yeah, they are probably way too nice, but I like 'em. It's kinda nice to see the "nice guys" do well for a change.

I must say, though, that I couldn't help but think that I know the PERFECT couple for this show!!

I wonder if it is possible to nominate (like the makeover show) someone.
