I have it set to record on the DVR...BUT...I usually get up around 4am to make a bathroom trip (I know, TMI ;) ) - if I am feeling awake enough, I'll start watching. I'm still jobless here in Orlando so I can always go back to bed afterward! And get up in time for the Endeavor launch in the afternoon...now there's a plan...

Won't be getting up that early as I have a full day of work ahead.
But thinking back to Charles and Diana's wedding, I worked nights then in the burn center. I had a female patient who had 80% burns, so we watched the wedding while I changed her dressings. I had just gotten married 2 weeks prior (will soon celebrate my 30th anniversary) in an almost identical, but prettier, dress that my mother had made by hand.

I always knew we were civilised - the TV coverage starts at 4pm and the actual ceremony at 7pm! Wouldn't miss it no matter what time it was on and I'm not a royalist! Lady Lee

Down in another Colonial Outpost, New Zealand, we are also Royal Junkies. Our coverage starts at 7pm tonight with the service live at 10pm.
You should have seen it down in our village today. All the checkout ladies were wearing plastic tiaras and the guys were wearing Top Hats. Everyone was talking about the wedding, and one of the stores that sell "British Food", was serving champagne and cake to anyone who cared to call in.

Alarm has been off for almost 2 hours, Lady Katerina. Tea is poured and steeping!!! Katherine is on her way to the Abbey.

..... Lady Mamie

Lady Lee, on Facebook, someone posted this for royal names: What is your royal wedding guest name? Start with either Lord or Lady. Your first name is one of your grandparents' names. Your surname is the name of your first pet, double-barrelled with the name of the street you grew up on. I am Lady Mamie Pinky Fenwick. And you...

Arlene, so far it looks like "a go." She looks beautiful. Lovely dress. Interesting that Catherine is wearing a short vale.

Thank goodness the bells have stopped.

I think her dress is stunning! She did well. Sort of disapointed by the small bouquet... I like large ones!

I'm with you on Beatrice's hat, Arlene. Not sure if it might take wings!! So far the most odd I've seen today.

A quick "hello" & a wave from London! What a spectacular celebration!!!! Don & I landed this AM at LHR. Everyone has stopped, watching every screen showing the wedding. So exciting. We are back inside now at our hotel waiting for the balcony festivities on TV...ran to check in, the whole city stopped, all so proud. Lots of souvenirs, happy happy people all around:) :)

Thx, Michele, Please take a pix of the most unusual souvenir for us. How fun to be in the middle of all the festivities..... I guess!

It looks like Kate's dress may have a jacket or underskirt. Hope we get to see other photos of the loving couple throughout the day and evening.

Dress was beautiful, as was the bride, but I was more interested in the vintage Rolls and even "vintager" carriages.

BUT, decorating the sleek Aston Martin drop top was HOKEY - especially the trailing items - I suspect the rascal Harry is to blame.

Love Kate's dress and her sister's too - they both looked fantastic. I really like the idea of one maid of honor, also dressed in white, rather than a bevy of bridesmaids in often unattractive dresses.

I got up at 4:00 and watched it! Well, until I dozed off during all of those hymns they sang...

Everyone looked so fabulous - oh, those hats!!! My only question is, why did Victoria Beckham wear black? It's a wedding, not a funeral! I guess it's become less of a no-no to wear black to a wedding, and I guess since Vic is pregnant, she probably wanted to look as small as possible, and black is slimming.

The carriage ride got me teared up. I still see so much of Diana in William.

Speaking of the Prime Minister, did anyone else notice that his wife wasn't hearing a hat? What was up with that?
