Found this today on cuteoverload.com (which is a great site itself)... http://www.ustream.tv/channel/shiba-inu-puppy-cam I figured since we were in puppy cam withdrawal, we could get a new fix. Now who's getting a puppy this time? :app:

Oh, I love any kind of spitz-type breed. Those puppies are really adorable, this is a breed we've considered owning.

I am completely addicted to these Shibas. The webcam isn't as sharp, but the puppies are hilarious. Just so cute. Luckily, they are all taken, so no temptation.

Watching the chat is hilarious! There are hundreds of people watching this cam! And there are total addicts. I think these guys are wonderful, and so tiny. At 5 weeks they're mostly between 3 and 4 pounds. But feisty.

Yeh, I'm worried about that, and commented on it before they took the chatroom away (too many trolls I guess.)
The owners keep stressing that people interested in Shibas should try rescue organizations first, since they are cute puppies but challenging dogs. Their character seems much like or Malamute, just smaller--willful, intelligent, independent, strong prey instinct, lousy at obedience, love to run (away). If I was 10 years younger,...I'd get one!

My doctor has a Shiba - he plays tennis and has a court at his house. The dog tries to get the ball when they play so they have to keep her in when the game is serious. They exercise her that way frequently. She's going to visit the studio for pix next month or so.

They are bigger now, their legs have grown. Going outside now, and starting to go to their new homes next weekend. I will miss them, glad I won't be around to see them leave.
