97% scored higher than me YAY! Now Frank on the other hand, would know the answers to every single question, and I don't think he's nerdy, just very smart - but hey he went to Cal Tech, so what can I say?? He's a really nice guy though! :D

Marc - I did some educated guessing, too, but I decided that was another way of measuring one's aptitude for exceling at all things nerdy (that is a compliment in my book).
Yep, remembering Fermium came in handy. I figured, though, it came to mind because a friend worked on the supercollider project when it was at Fermilab in Illinois.
Why don't we be co-chairs of the nerds council for LCT?
Cheers, Anne

Way to go Joanne! I was pleased that I was in the "cool group" too! Tom also would score high, but I definately do not consider him a nerd. Cheers, Pam

I won't comment on my score other than to disagree strenuously with it and the calculation methodology. Why is background in math/science necessarily a prerequisite to "nerd-dom?" They should have provided ways to ameliorate math/science background - maybe something like having played a contact varsity sport automatically nullifies any background in math/science. It seems that the questions relating to math/science had stronger weights than the computer ones (I know very little about using computers) and the Star Trek one (I only paid attention to her eyes). And the question about using RPN calculators was unfair. Non-RPN calculators are nigh unusable!

I still use my HP12C calculator that I got in college for my finance courses. Once you get used to RPN it is hard to use anything else! Knowing what RPN is probably makes me pretty nerdy though I am not too knowledgeable in science...

HP12C? Also my calculator of choice. I have a spare just in case there's a problem with my main one. Cheers, Anne

Ha! I don't have a spare...BUT...I have extra batteries. I bought them a few years ago when I was attending a treasury/cash management/foreign exchange workshop and I didn't want to be caught without the 12C...and haven't needed them yet. I thought I would be nerdier! Maybe I'm more of a geek than a nerd??? Dena

71% scored higher (more nerdy), and 29% scored lower (less nerdy).
What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:
Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.
Oh swell. And I thought I would be cool. Sigh...

I agree wholeheartedly! RPN rules! My 11c holds a special place in my heart.
Karen - I bow to your superior ST knowledge. :)
