Prague has been between -1C and -5C, and we thought this was cold!! Sounds like it was colder on the east coast. It wasn't too much fun for our walking tours!!!
My advice, do walking tours in spring and fall.

Well, I was sorry to hear about the cold in Florida. I have been in central Florida when everything was frozen overnight. All the oranges, tropical plants and trees (not to mention the pipes). It is not pretty, and is devastating for the economy, I know.
I hope it wasn't too bad down there, and hope it has warmed up, as it has here in Toronto.

I was wondering when you'd be checking in, Phil. For your sake, I was hoping you were somewhere tropical.
Unless you have a warm vacation planned soon, I think you'd better get on Expedia with the rest of us and book for CA or HI. :)

It is kind of sad that today's 40 degrees feels so temperate. I was half tempted to wear shorts because of the drastic "comparative warmth".

It started off a little chilly this morning, -25º with wind chill of -45º but has warmed up a lot - now up to -20º with windchill of only -29º. Expect by mid-February, we'll be averaging -40º with chills around -55º to -65º. <img border="0" alt="[drinker]" title="" src="graemlins/all_coholic.gif" />

Phil, I hope you stored up plenty of sunshine and warmth during your two trips to FP to last you through your long winter!
It's back to regular December temperatures here in Michigan yesterday and today. We're due for 5-8 inches of snow tonight that guarentees us a white Christmas.
