If Bill Cosby is performing near you, DO NOT MISS HIM!
We saw him last night, and our sides are still hurting from laughing so hard. Wow - what a storyteller! He has a Universal appeal.

At 68 he is as funny as ever.

I love the Coz! I have had many laughs listening to his tapes, especially about childbirth and the children (I dunno!)

Gil,

We saw Bill Cosby some years ago at Gator Growl. 70 ~ maybe 75,000 people in the Swamp. He did a great job, and, I'd guess, that's a hard thing to do. FUNNY!

I love the Cos, too!

If George Carlin is ever appearing in your area, I strongly urge you to see him. He's brilliant and hilarious!

My oldest son is always mimicking him in front of me for the shock value! Joanna and Marcie know that he is pretty good at that.

I saw Cos several times - once he played at the Beverly Hilton Hotel - they NEVER do shows there and we had a front table (dinner show - just like Vegas!) and he was incredible. Same as Vegas, where I saw him several years later. He is so very talented. I remember as a kid listening to my parents listen to his album, "Why is there Air?" over and over.

Three or so years ago I went to a dog show up in Northern California where I met my dog, Daisy, as a puppy and her breeders. It was an all Terrier Show. He and his dog, Mick, the Kerry Blue was there. Mick is the only dog to win Westminster, Crufts and the Eukanuba. He was quiet on the sidelines - no humor - but - Mick won, it was his show!

This was the third time I've seen him in concert and he definitely didn't disappoint. He was up there for 2 hours and would have kept going if there wasn't another show after ours...

Of course I'm not sure I could have done more time...my sides might not have taken it.

Whats amazing is he never curses, is never really off color and still manages to have us all in stitches. He's a storyteller extrodinaire.

A few years ago Jan B was in Denver and saw him
at The Turn of The Century. She said she actually fell out of her chair laughing so hard.
Then it turned out he had the hotel room across the hall from her and got to say hello to him.

First time I saw him was in Vegas in 1974. I still do not know what I did to get a table right at the stage. I assume I gave a higher denomination bill than I thought to the Maitre'd.
We ended up being part of the show. He did a routine about my then-wife's brother once he heard who he was. They were the 2 3rd string running backs at Temple together. Just like last week, Coz went on & on in Vegas - went way over his time. It was his last night & he said What The HEck & just kept telling story after story.
Another nice part of sitting right at the stage for that show was that his opening act was Juliet Prowse. I will not comment further! wink
