I heard it was a tough game, Sue.
Have you been to games since you left Wisconsin?

Diane the game was a nail biter until the very last seconds!

I've been to a game in Atlanta when the Packers played the Falcons, but never in Gr. Bay - EVER!

The Redskins won in overtime. So it's safe to go to work tomorrow. Washington is not a pretty place when the 'skins have lost.

Sue and Kristin - congrats on your Packers victory.

NFC North also had a Vikings victory. Whew! At least they won't go 0 and 16 (is that still the number of regular season games?)

Cheers, Anne

Sue, you MUST go to a game at Lambeau if it's the last thing you do...we've had the privilege of attending two games there (we won both, one of which was vs. the evil Vikings - best day of my life, tied for our SB win and the Motu Mohana day on the PG)...today was not fun, but we will take the W. It was a GREAT weekend for Wisconsin fans. Brewers win both (VIVA CERVECEROS), Badgers win, and our beloved Packers. And Cubbies lose. Can't ask for much more. Oh, and the Bears lost too! Probably won't last, but let me enjoy my moment in time!

We posted at the same time, Anne - Vikings looked very good...Pack, Vikes, LIONS (who?) all in a tie for first with Bears in last place...who'd have thunk it?
:D

Yes we are real excited too.
If you recall Jim B's brother in law is the
Head strength & Conditioning coach (Rock Gullickson), for the Packers and that has the family really pumped.

I leave tommorrow for Minneapolis and will get to meet up with Rock from 5 to 7 pm. and yes I am going to the game with business associates.
They are all Viking fans so we will see how this goes. LOL

I'm calling them the Heart Attack Pack this year...I can't take these close games...I shake like a leaf and wring my hands and pace around like a crazy woman the entire game.

Badgers 5-0, Packers 4-0 - UNREAL - but believe me, there is a lot of knocking on wood going on.

Too bad our Brewers couldn't pull it off, but OHHHHHH what a season. I am SO PROUD OF THEM. Look out for them next year for sure!

Oh Janb how lucky of you to have gone to the game! I was at my Mom's and we were both just on the edge of our seats (poor Tom missed the game he was out bird hunting).

Kristin; we flew in to Appleton and drove to Green Bay as we had a 1:30 appt with a log home builder, but we made time to have lunch at Lambeau Field, look around the atrium and then buy some fast Packer "things" at the Pro Shop! It was truly AMAZING!!! As I was walking around there I felt a lot of history and I was totally in awe. :)

Again, I say Heart Attack Pack!!!

We sure do need to enjoy those fantastic Favre moments while we still can - someday (too soon) it will all come to an end. :mecry:

I loved it that they invited his wife, Deanna, to the booth for a nice long chat. What a great story of true love - I can't believe they've known each other since 1st grade!

As a born and bred Wisconsinite from Milwaukee, can I add myself to the list of Packer Backers? Have been a fan all my life and SO glad Favre came back this year! What a game last night!
Kathy
PS - John and I both went to Marquette, so he is an adopted Packer fan, although most of his family now live in Denver. Was fun watching the Broncos get beaten!
GO PACK!!!!!!!!!

congratulations to the Packer Backers! As a Vintage Viking fan, it would put me in the Packer Hacker camp. Fortunately, my frenzy years as an NFL fan have passed. Since Bud Grant has given up the head coaching job, I only have a passing interest in all things Purple.

Gary, on the other hand, is sweating it out because the Iggles beat the Vikes this weekend. At least it wasn't the Giants.

Cheers, Anne

HEART ATTACK PACK! Yikes.

I wish the Colts would've won. Oh well.

And look at those Detroit Lions. No one is paying attention to them but they are quietly winning game after game. One game behind us. Our Thanksgiving showdown should be interesting.

My mother was there with my sister.
She lives in Hood River Or and flew out for the game and to be there for Thanksgiving.
Since the Packers play at Detroit on Thanksgiving Day they will have theirs on Friday.

Just had to pass this along to you Packer Backers.

Today was my sister's birthday so I called her.
After a nice long visit she told me Rock was home and so I got to talk to him too.
He said the press is really pouring into Green Bay. Today he sat and had lunch with Howie Long! He also had a nice meeting with Marv Albert later this afternoon.
GO PACK! :ch: :ch: :ch:
