Hi everyone. Thought I'd give a short introduction. My husband and I are booked for the PG on 3/12/05 with a one night pre-cruise in papeete at Beachcomber and a three night post- cruise in Manihi. This is our first time with RSSC. We took my daughter on a short cruise to the Bahamas on Carnival about eight years ago. My daughter loved it- the kids program was great for her. My husband was not impressed with the whole cruise experience, especially the assigned time/ seating for meals. We were able to buy alcohol and take it back to our room at that time. Needless to say it took some convincing when I brought up the idea of another cruise to my husband. I'm sure with what I have read this cruise will be totally different. The PG was recommended to me by my OB/GYN doctor.
My husband and I have been married for 10 years as of this past October. This cruise is actually our anniversary present. I will be 46 this coming January and my hsband will turn 40 in March. We have a 5 yr old son and I have a 14 yr. old daughter from my previos marriage. We also have a 7 mo. old springer spanial named Monte and a 6 yr old antisocial calico cat named Emma. My husband and I both are state employees and work for correctioal facilities. Myself as a RN and my husabnd is a lieutenant. I'm a big Packer fan and my husband is more into NASCAR.
I would like to say that the info I have gotten so far is great.

Welcome kimk!! It sounds like you're going to have a wonderful time on the PG....I hear nothing but rave reviews from those who have taken that cruise! Did you know that there is a large group from this LCT board going in May '05 (known here as PIP)??

It would be great to find out who else will be on the PG on the 3/12/05 sailing. One of the reasons we went with March was the free air - also got a great price.

Kimk,

Welcome to LCT!!! I'm fairly new myself and love these people. They are smart AND fun!!!! (and very, very nice!!!)

You will love RSSC. It is first class all the way with wonderful people - both crew and passengers. Everyone is so very friendly. Our very first cruise was on the Navigator. Now we're booked for the PG on the 5/21/05 PIP sailing that Marcie mentioned above. You'll have to let us know all about your cruise on 3/12/05 :) :) :) How exciting for you!!!!! You don't have to wait as long as we do for paradise.

Look forward to your posts.

Cyndi

ColonelWes, My husband, Hans, and myself look forward to meeting you and Ida also. Did I read that this cruise has something to do with your retirement? Between your retirement, our 10th anniversary and my husbands 40th BD we have a lot to celebrate. Sounds like FUN to me!!!!

ColonelWes, I'm jealous- I have at least 12 years before retirement and at that time my son will just be graduating from HS. What category are you booked in? We are category c/ room #703. I see your sneaking a cruise in before the PG...lucky!! Have you been on other RSSC cruises?

Kim, we will be neighbors as we're in 707 during the March 12th sailing...yes, we got a great deal on the Dec Cruise; as a result of taking this cruise, we then earn Seven Seas Society
Savings for our PG cruise. December will be our first cruise ever, altho the Army has sent me on numerous land-only cruises (Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Tokyo)..r/wes

ColonelWes, that's great that we will be neighbors. Have a great time on the Navigator...we'll need a full report when you return. I'm sure this will be much more fun than your land- only cruises!!
