Hi all,
(Some of this was mentioned in Seamail.) I’ve updated the blog through the wild day that we had yesterday. It began with a 1:30 AM call from Gail’s son, David, that the twins were born at about 7:45 PM Seattle time. Everyone was doing well.
Meanwhile, onboard we were subject to howling winds over 80 mph and 30-foot seas. On top of that, we later lost heat in our cabin.
Things are much calmer this morning as we head toward Deception Island.
I didn’t take any special pictures yesterday, though I think if anyone took my photo, you would probably have noticed a green tint to my skin!
