I am at the airport in JNB waiting for our flight to London. Had a wonderful time at Djuma and will write up and report on the camps and my impressions and get those to the people interested in Roar 3. Will also add them to my Africa web.

Enjoyed spending time with Gail and Eugene. The time went by too fast seems like we were always busy.

We had a great guide that loved leopards. He raised two leopard cubs for a movie and documentary from Londolozi about leopards. We found the mother leopard and two cubs when Gail and Eugene were here but they were in high grass. The evening that Gail and Eugene left we were the only guests in his vehicle. We decided to stay with the leopards for the entire game drive. They came out into the open played, ran up and down the trees, make the impala kill fall, mom told them off and hoisted it up the tree again. We did the same thing this morning just sat with the leopards. A hyena came along and both cubs were in different trees with mom standing guard. It was so special.

The nice thing about this area is that there are not many camps here. In the three hours only two other vehicles came to the sighting. Wild earth was one of them and the other vehicle from Djuma. You are not rushed to leave a sighting and that is a great thing. Many of the camps are privately owned so they are not always there. There were about six vehicles that visited the lion and leopard in the tree and only about eight traversing the whole area. They do all share information so there are enough eyes out there to find game.

Ken has some fabulous leopard pictures that he will post when he gets home.
