Ironically, we just had dinner with some Mercedes Driving Friends Who Love Crystal over RSSC. They are European and in life are just more formal than we are (although they have lived in So. Calif. for 25+ years). They like the formality and structure and do not mind paying for the tips, wine and extras. They have sailed both. I personally like RSSC and probably would not sail Crystal unless there was a special fare to make the cost equal to an RSSC or if the itinerary were more suitable.
