The assigned & fixed seatings seem to be a deal breaker for so many that one wonders if Crystal will eventually change their format.
Of course, breakfast & lunch are OPEN seating
and in the evening, various tables are open
because of people being in the other restaurants or int heir cabins, that it often is possible to
join new friends. If the others at your table
are not present, the maitre d' always offer to
have you join others....so there is some flexibility.
