I think it would be too warm in the summer (and don't want to pay the power bill to keep the air that cold!) Wonder what Masaki keeps the thermostat on? Maybe they have lightweight duvets in Hawaii?
Rachel, excellent point about removing and replacing in the cover - especially king size!
I think DH likes the one piece, instead of aligning two. Think I'll keep quiet about sheets! :D
