ua549 cruiser Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 27 Florida	Overseas territories of France are considered an integral part of France. They are ruled by from Paris and follow French laws. As far as I know the mandatory retirement age in France is 65. In the US the mandatory retirement age for pilots is 60. I don't know if that applies to merchant marine licensed individuals as well.
