Hi Freddie - It was interesting to read about your experience with US Customs.

While I'm over the Customs experience now, Michael and I had our first Regent cruise from NY to Quebec and we caught the train back. At the border, we were treated like convicts (no comment please Ngaire) and at that stage of our cruising career, we had been nowhere else except in Canada. We were travelling on Australian passports, so we were friendly foe. There were two men and they were just plain rude! Michael had to stop me from asking what planet were they from and hadn't they heard of Australia. I had hoped things had improved by now and while I completely understand it is better to be safe than sorry, there is no excuse for rudeness.
